Spoiler:
I've seen several different sources that all say non-title. I think we'd know for sure if it was a cash-in. And they already clarified last week on SD that Bryan can't cash in on the WWE title, only the world title. Nothing to worry about here.

Spoiler:
Yeah, its way easier to mistakenly think it was some kind of cash in than not. It would also make zero sense, not just cos he would be cashing in on the other brand's belt but he just spent a month and change talking about cashing at WM. Which isnt to say he wouldnt cash it in earlier, but it would either be uber opportunistic and likely with a heel turn or when he announced ahead of time like "im taking on Mark Henry for his belt at the Royal Rumble in 3 weeks" or whatever.

FInally got around to watching Raw just now. Haven't caught up on thread since SS posts...any more posts from Brandon or Ricardo Rodriguez? lol...

Subway commercial was terrible...however that sandwich sounds really good and will try first thing tomorrow...only cuz it was endorsed by The Miz and he's...AWWWEESOME!

As a fan of wrestling, I must say I was extremely offended by that joker Lawler talking the way he did about the tag team champs and also Kofi and Evan (Who I really really like, and I'd rather have them be a legit tag team title contender as opposed to jobbers every week). It was good to see Evan hit his finisher perfectly, its been so long since he won a match I was beginning to think he'd forget how to do it. But yea just use this as an excuse to get rid of Lawler. It's especially bad for me because I was a huge mark for the heel Lawler commentator in mid to late 90's or w/e. In fact my favorite match of all time is Owen Hart vs. Bret Hart at Wrestlemania X, and a big reason was Lawler having just as flawless a performance as the two Harts did.

Obv very late to the party but I only recently found out McGillicutty is Mr. Perfect's son...I was shocked and figured it was some sort of sick joke. Confirmed (adopted?) How is that even possible?

Ugh, absolutely hated HATED the Nash/Punk promo. Nash sucked on the mic (rusty?) and Punk was decent enough but didn't seem to have his heart into it like he did the previous 2 months. He's probably legit upset he's pretty much "the guy" right now and is being relegated to fueding with Nash instead of the strap. It actually seems like they're using Punk's momentum and current status to drive interest in Nash, instead of the other way around; using Nash to keep Punk relevant and in the spotlight. Shame.

For people that don't think he will actually wrestle, I'm afraid he just might. He didnt just show up and assist HHH or whoever pull this off, he was actually the guy doing the dirty work. He was in a ring, clotheslining and jacknifing CMP. That's two of his 3 moves, i dont recall did he also do the big boot to the face? Ugh...Him actually getting in there and doing "wrestling" moves is a bad sign imo. Give him a month or two to get in shape and we'll see CM Punk vs. Kevin Nash at some point, and that sure as hell can't ever be too soon. Hope I'm wrong and he goes away NOW.

I love watching Kelly Kelly and the Bella twins in matches, they give women a really bad name. But its just so hilarious to me, and they try so hard....Natty/Beth have to go in there and wipe everybody out not just stand there and applaud. Beth, you got beat by Kelly Kelly...and it looked somewhat believable, think about that. And don't come out wearing a) that outfit from SS and b) that dolled up glamorous barbie look you were just trying to bury a few weeks ago.

Hopefully creative can pull something out of their behind and somehow fix this trainwreck that's about to happen. Whoever sent the text message, I just hope its kinda shocking and unexpected and not Steph, hopefully they're levelling in the way they made it pretty obvious it was her. And why Nash? I mean...if you need someone to do something like this; is the first instinct to text message a 52 year old has been/never was? Frustrating..as I was having a bunch of fun getting back into wrestling and they lost me before by screwing up storylines left and right...I bought a CMP shirt that doesnt even fit me, and I dont regret it! Cmon Man!

I like the fact that Nash called Punk indyrific(?) when he is still taking a bunch of indy bookings.

Nash may have stumbled some words but real people do on occasion when they are talking it's completely believable. More importantly, 90% of the guys in WWE presently cut witless, passionate-less, dull promos that do make me not watch. Nash didn't do this. But maybe this is the difference between me and most current WWE fans (I am not a WWE fan as a rule but like the work of a very small number of people in the organization only and give new guys/changed guys a chance); I don't actually like what they usually do and how they do it. I have not liked a single promo I've seen from most of the guys in the WWE (including some guys who have had the strap recently).

Speaking of fail, Mark Henry is the #1 contender? Seriously? He can't work or talk. He isn't a character. He lacks charisma. He doesn't have the it factor. He's a nothingmaster, and not a young one. No potential. This is what WWE usually does, and this does make not watch.

Spoiler:
Henry is doing the best work he has ever done, and they have built him and booked him phenomenally over the past few months. He is playing the character that he should have been playing all along; a big huge, ridiculously strong guy that crushes everything in his way. Not only is it believable that he can destroy Randy Orton in a "fight", Orton is going to go into this thing as a fairly big underdog considering Henry's recent run

I'll give Henry a shot then maybe he finally has turned the corner. It was always better to me if the big guy in the main event had personality also or at least an edge though; the big, huge ridiculously strong guy that crushes everything doesn't do anything for me if the guy is a bore. It's just like Bam Bam Bigelow without the high flying and the look; and even with those Bam Bam wasn't a main event.

FAO moronbot:

Spoiler:
Mark Henry's recent push is the most perfect thing WWE have done in years. It's not as entertaining as the CM Punk angle or many other angles, and it's not supposed to be, but every single thing WWE has done with Mark Henry since his heel turn and move to SmackDown has been perfectly executed. A huge amount of credit for this has to go to Henry, who looks every inch of the hulking, terrifying, bone-crushing man-beast he's supposed to be.

Think of all the times in the past that WWE has given the monster push to Kane, or Big Show, or Batista. How many times did you get the impression that those guys were genuinely as mean as they said they were, instead of just being a cartoon character? The last monster push that was this effective was Brock Lesnar, and that worked out pretty well, because the guy himself is a legit beast. I hope Henry holds the title before the end of the year because whoever beats him is going to look like an absolute superstar.

Also, the best thing about Mark Henry is the 'soft side' we've seen on TV before - he'll rip your limbs off, and then write you a poem about it. Tell me that's not ****ing badass.

Fwiw Henry had a monster heel push in 05/06 main eventing matches against The Undertaker, Batista and Kurt Angle. This isn't really a new gimmick for him.

It's a truly amazing thing that a bunch of smarks, myself included, are rushing to Henry's defense. I can't believe how well this is clicking.

Yeah, but they're sure as hell doing it better this time, and he looks a lot more motivated.

True though, that it's really crazy how fickle the smark audience (myself included) can be. We hated Henry a while back.

That's because a while back Mark Henry was just a twice as big Kofi Kingston. A random face who just came out and wrestled and had no storyline.

It's amazing how characters become more interesting when they have some motivation even if that motivation is "hmm, I'm bigger than everyone, maybe I should start whooping some ass"

Same with R-Truth. Most went from actively hating him to liking him. Next to Punk he has been the most consistantly entertaining part of Raw the last couple months.

Finally got to see the Punk/Nash promo. Liked the text line, obv, other than that it was OK but not amazing, which shows how much I expect from Punk these days. Nash was OK, I don't get people expecting anything else that's who Nash is when he's not playing the sarcastic/funny/goof/dick character and playing a slightly more serious one.

I believe they meant what they said in this segment, also and didn't love Nash trying to bury Punk as the little indy non-superstar but to be fair Punk's character needs an establishment to go against and his fans are mainly smarks so who better to have him feud with than HHH, Nash, Xpac, and other Smark villains? This could work or it could be awful. We'll see.

In regards to Nash, I have no problem watching the guy work. He's nothing great and in all honesty is pretty below average but he has a nice core of power offense (big boot, snake eyes, sidewalk slam, etc.) and I'm a Jackknife mark.

I just wish they wouldn't waste Punk on him. Let Cena and Nash feud or something. That would be a nice build to Cena/Rock, have Cena feud with a few older, established stars and just destroy them.

I don't think anyone expected anything else. That's why most of us were pissed when he showed up at SummerSlam.
