I don't like Nash at all. He's not terrible on the mic but he's no better than average.

You telling me you arent gonna watch tomorrow? Really? Did Steph go around HHH? There are three wrestlers on the roster who have a rematch in the future for the title and we went into the WWE title match with two champs then ended up with one champ who wasnt even in that match.

Wrestling is at its best when its mixing believable hate filled grudges with spanish soap operaesque nonsense. This is possibly the best ending they could have gone with and its one no one saw coming.

Keep Nash with a mic in his hand out of the ring and have ADR the corporate champ, just not HHH's corporate champ. Steph wished both Cena and Punk good luck but she knew it didnt matter, one insulted her, the other cost her daddy his company and Hunter, her husband, rehired the guy who insulted her? A Helmsley controls the company, but a McMahon controls the champion.

One time dealer, this could be ****ing epic.
I'm not watching tomorrow. I've got Jets-Texans watching party to oversee.

Giving WWE creative (The Kliq?) WAY too much credit imo

I just remember smarks back in the day saying, "Well, Nash is horrible in the ring, but you've gotta give it to him, the man can talk." I was always left going "WTF are you people talking about?!?"

All in all, superb PPV ... the ending just leaves a bad aftertaste, but that and MITB is light years better than what WWE was giving us for a long time.

I for one loved the finish. The thing I have hate most about the pg era is how predictable everything is, and that finish was far from predictable. Summerslam left us all with questions and that's good. I can't wait for Raw tomorrow to find out what's going on.

Oh yeah, I'm glad someone clarified the reference. I'd forgotten that.

Nash's gauntlet match is truly the funniest thing to me about the end of WCW. Pinning guys without pinning them? Epic.

Ok, Summerslam was ****ing awesome. Crowd was good too.

Surprised at all the hate.

Seriously, we've been bitching about HHH and how he's always gotta be the man in anything he's doing. Whens the last time he's made a huge mistake that he's going to have to answer to (3 count) and looked completely lost and clueless (Nash/ADR).

I really liked the ending. Also, credit where it's due: Cena wrestled a hell of a match. Dropkick was beautiful and Crossface had me legit "ooooh!"-ing.

Orton/Christian match was probably their best in the feud and that's saying something.

Mark/Sheamus match was great and pretty much solidified the monster Henry push and the face turn for Sheamus making him look broken but having heart crawling back not in time. Booking for that match was perfect.

Wade/Bryan was a great match and as much as I was anti-Barrett winning coming in, I think they booked that one very well also with it being so close.

Divas match legit shocked me and was great for a divas match as well.

6 man tag match had some solid spots too and Im glad Miz/Truth/ADR got a match in.

Also, RTruth promo with Jimmy was excellent.

I have not one bad thing to say about the show. Not. One. Idk if I think it was > MitB, but it was easily the 2nd best PPV since I've resumed watching.

I haven't really watched WWE much at all for a long time and enjoyed it. Only disappointing thing to me was the lack of Del Rio's personal announcer at the end. Whatever event I watched a few months ago had him and he was killing it.

The fact that it's Kevin Nash is really bothersome. And I was gonna watch Raw because of the foot on the rope thing...the rest was just weird. Not necessarily bad, definitely not good (as of right now) just..weird. But as much as I dislike Cena(although deep down I love him) he really looked like such a wuss tonight, didnt like that part at all. He also botched his foot on the rope, his foot was in the air as soon as he got covered..I mean if you can do that at the .5 count you can sure as hell kick out.

/Tilt, see you guys tomorrow

Btw Punk, after the PPV, waved to the crowd before walking off. There was also a bunch of Ricardo apparently too.

Tomorrow the turn is going to be 100% and he is a babyface screwed by Steph(?)/Nash and ADR.

And yeah, considering we expected HHH to screw it up cos of his ego he played that match pretty much perfect start to finish including blowing the countout call.

I agree with the vast majority of this post, but basically any PPV ending involving Nash that doesn't involve Bret Hart small packaging him for the title is going to suck. So...I really didn't like the ending. The angle has potential though, so I'll still be looking forward to Raw tomorrow.

Rest of the show was awesome.

Part of why Cena's gimmick "works" is he doesnt have to sell stuff often. Cos he is 100% terrible at selling stuff.

exactly my thoughts. WWE has been VERY stale for a very long time and now that they are giving us something fresh we should give it a chance. The last few PPVs and Raws have been light years better than anything WWE has done in years.

Guys, I am actually pretty excited about that finish. I have a feeling we're heading for ADR as a stooge for Steph and HHH. Nash may even be a short term thing, with him just getting thanked for his help or something in the next while.

Eventually HHH will claim it was all his doing, and Cena/Punk vs. ADR/New McMahon-Helmsley Regime is gonna be good.

This is the first time in a while that I've been pretty stoked for the distant future of the WWE.

Also, Punk teaming with Cena is definitely going to get him back over as a face again, which I find oddly fitting. I was once a "turn Cena" mark, but the more I think about it now, the more he just needs to legitimise himself as a face rather than being stale. It appears he's adding some moves to his set, and he's starting to get my attention with his nearly no-longer stale ring and mic work.

Yeah I mean I'm not ecstatic that it's Nash or anything, but if he's just going to be ADR's new Brodus Clay then it is such a small aspect at the current time that I'm not going to complain about it when everything else about the PPV was great.
