curious where people think Cena's character goes from here. one of my first thoughts (also said itt earlier) was that this monday's match will be a 3 way. will cena just supercena over the winner of that match if it's not a 3 way? for once he seems lost in the shuffle...

Well he *started* the match against Hogan as a face sort of?

Also who knows how they book it. They could have him lose in heroic fashion or Vince returns and gets involved. I like the idea of Cena/Rock *not* being for the title because otherwise it makes the ending obvious. Rock isn't returning to defend the title and travel regularly so having him win it makes zero sense unless they want to set a precedent of people leaving WWE with the belt.

DB is already getting a title match at WM and the rumble winner usually gets a title match too so Cena/Rock is unlikely to be a title match.

You think D-Bryan is getting a WM title match with the case?

Id consider that part of a work and he will cash it in earlier, perhaps when a heel champ goads him into it or when its just very appropriate to do so or whatever.

Its just odd that we are in July and in April next year he is having a world title match. If he is good enough to main event WM he will be main eventing earlier and if he isnt good enough to be main eventing earlier then why would they book him around the biggest show of the year?

I guess they could have him win some title shots at the back end of the year to prepare him for the cash in, but id be surprised if that case isnt used in an alternate storyline between now and WM even if plan A is that he cashes it in at Miami.

Gents, I'm typing this live from tonite' smackdown house show. Seats are unreal as I'm like 40 ft from the ring; the arena is really a glorified high school gym. Full trip report and pics to follow!
