I would say yes, maybe (and leaning yes), no, no, no, no, no, no, yes.

I found a link to CM Punk's old LiveJournal page which included his Summer of Punk entry. I'm now as convinced as I could be that he'll be sticking around, but there's always a chance. Either way, he's clearly on top of his game right now - this next month of Punk is going to be epic.

Re Orton 'His Lou Thesz Press is more literally a Jumping Dick Attack than most’s'

lol, this blog is pretty cool.

Regarding Jeff Hardy, i think they'd have him back in a shot if he was clean and did 3 months training(if..lol). He's still only 33 and his character would fit right back in and add to storylines immensely, especially regarding Punk.

Assuming you mean this WM next year and not any WM

undertaker
Almost certainly yes and probably his retirement match.

jericho
Id expect Jericho will get the wrestling bug again and returning in time for WM is quite likely. Or not. I mean he has taken multiple year breaks in the past, so it depends entirely on his mood cos the door is always open for him. If you hear he gets cast in a big movie before Xmas id expect to see him pull a Rock to some degree, if not he is somewhat likely the RR shock entrant.

angle
Likely he will never be seen on the WWE again, outside of a hall of fame induction.

hogan
Probably the same deal with Angle, except he has already had his HoF induction. He certainly wont be wrestling again (i dont think he physically can anymore).

sting
Doubtful given he has never come to terms for a WWE contract and just signed another "one last year" with TNA. Id love to say he will wrestle Taker's sendoff next year, id actually fork out money to watch that match alone, but id bet against it as the odds are stacked strongly against him working in the WWE.

austin
There has been teasing signs he could do a Rock and have a short return involving a big match. Again, same as sting, id love to say he will come back but the odds are still strong against it. He is in a much healthier state than he was when he left the WWE tho.

foley
Wont be working a match. Never say never on him having some kind of role but i doubt it.

hardy boyz
Likely not, but it would sell tickets and this is an industry of never say nevers. But Vince is heavily anti Jeff since he jumped ship to TNA and he is unreliable as ****. He is like one of those acme weapons that when it works its cartoon awesomeness but a lot of the time it just self destructs.

punk
Id say yes. Taking 6 months off, returning at the RR and getting into a story leading to WM is the most likely thing assuming he doesnt sign a contract extension, in which case he will certainly be in a match (ignoring injuries of course).

Got my money in the bank ppv tickets last week, a Punk/Cena main event for the title would be so sweet

Jesus, this match was pretty brutal. 5 years ago it probably would have been awesome but Joe is so fat and slow and RVD is just slow and still can't throw a worked punch to save his life or his weed sack.

And nice!!! for Botch Cara v. Small Package. That should be interesting and maybe Sin Cara will actually attempt his flip finisher live again! (Actually I doubt that, seems like he just does massive high cross-bodies now, maybe Vince banned him from trying the Botch-o-rama?)

This was good and non-sucky TNA. Wish the whole match was up :/

given this title match is in punk's hometown i have no confidence in him winning

which makes me think he will be taking time off

can only hope at MITB it's something like this at ONS 06 (skip to 4:00 for the start of good stuff). Somebody needs to make another "IF CENA WINS WE RIOT" sign.

Smackdown, just discussing matches that happened in this spoiler but not their results. Figure I'll play it safe with the tag.

Spoiler:
WTF at Bryan v. Rhodes AGAIN. Do the bookers think that SD has gone off the air and they're just randomly setting up cameras at house shows now? A feud is supposed to consist of more than generic matches between the same two guys every single week (and twice this week). How do you EVER sell that as a PPV match now?

Oh yeah, and Barrett v. Zeke again this week as well. I guess semi-excusable since they always give the former champ a rematch, but please be done with that now.

while I love IRS, the obvious companion costume here is Virgil, not IRS.

Read a prediction that Punk beats Cena then ADR cashes in MITB immediately to win the title to close the show....makes sense since rumors are Cena vs ADR for title at summerslam...of course it could be cena beats punk and ADR cashes in to win the title...or cena beats punk and ADR cashes in and loses...oh ****
Official WrestleMania Thread Quote

That last scenario would be pretty terrible. Cashing in the MITB and losing certainly doesn't set a guy up for another title shot, especially a guy like ADR who also failed to win the other world title at WM.

Presumably it will be a huge face or someone who will be turned to be a huge face if they went this route.

I half expect Cena to lose at the opening match, then win the MITB, then win the title at the end of the night. Jesus.

MITB can be cashed in at anywhere, any time as long as you have a ref, right? Does that mean it's sort of like the Hardcore title was when it was defended 24/7, where you could jump the champion backstage, pin him, then become champ, or does it have to be in the ring?
Official WrestleMania Thread Quote

Gotta be in the ring. It isn't a contract for a "falls count anywhere" match, just for a world title shot whenever the challenger wants it.
