Yeah, obviously Bret/Austin has a high chance of being a 5* main event, but I'm with DW in that I really would like to avoid having matches that have been done before. At this stage in the draft I think maximizing talent then going back and pairing the talent up is a better strategy than trying to build the card match by match as you go. Harley Race was probably the best wrestler still on the board so I was really happy to get him.

To be fair though, I really wanted to get a guy like Steamboat because the number of top level technical wrestlers is going to diminish a bit faster than the number of A+ heels. Harley Race definitely qualifies as one of the GOAT heels so I'm beyond happy with having him on the show.

I would definitely trade Steamboat for the right offer

Okay cool, I'm torn between like 5 guys here so hopefully yankeys makes my pick easier.

I'm taking Dusty Rhodes. Maybe I'm crazy, but I think he and Triple H could put on a hell of a match from a storyline perspective. This, probably being my main event, may not be great on the initial sales, but they could put on a match that everyone who sees it will be talking about. Of course, the "Dusty burial" will be something to watch out for.

I think Dusty is a good pick at this stage. Triple H definitely borrowed some elements of his moveset from Ric Flair and Harley Race, each of which had good results with Dusty.

Id be an absolute sucker for the build-up/storyline for the Taker vs Sting Match.

Common Man vs. privileged son in law/corporate bigwig could be a great angle.

I think building this would actually take some quality writing which might or might not be there. Who is heel? Is it face/face? Sting wasn't really a supernatural character like Undertaker was, he was just a bit dark. In his final write up I'd really like to see how he'd build this match.

I'll go into more detail in my final write-up, but it's going to be ultra heel Taker like during his Ministry of Darkness day fueding with 1997 Crow Sting. That was when Sting was most over, and when Taker was most over as a heel. I hate face/face matches so I want Taker to be heel.

I think that's probably the way to go. It certainly makes the choice of winner more interesting.

I think Bryan is another solid pick and there's definitely some awesome pairings out there for him.

I don't think darO has the ability to snipe me since I have no clue what to do with my next pick.

I had some hope of pairing Bryan with Angle.

Meh what I just said isn't totally true, I have a leaning but there are many competing voices in my head.

I hope that's not a lame foreshadowing attempt.
