There aren't enough blueboyaids.gifs on the entire internet for that travesty of a PPV.

That was the worst Rumble in recent memory, and my feelings have nothing to do with the WTF ending.

Too many obvious set up angles, not enough Barrett, where the **** was Kane, announcer bull****....

Obv. ADR won the Rumble last year and he wrestled the 1st match. It's still humorous that after that and after 10 months of building Rock vs Cena, Cole is still going nuts about Shaemus in the main event of Wrestlemania.

If you're gonna have a title match between a couple up and comers, this year was the year to do it since the actual main event is gonna be Rock/Cena. Takes a lot of pressure off Shaemus/Bryan. They just have to put a solid match on, not have to steal the show

I guess it would be nice for Bryan vs Sheamus to co-main event WM after getting bumped off the card last year.

jericho for 4 weeks didn't say anything and didn't wrestle at all. then spoke promising the end of the world at WM

then enters the RR, fine

then fights in the RR...wat

then LOSES in the RR............wat

sheamus v daniel bryan and rock v cena are the book ends for WM, likely with a hastily scrapped together jericho v punk or ziggler v punk, and h v undertaker somewhere in there

there is nothing about this ppv that was booked or executed properly. until vince mcmahon dies, i will never again watch an episode of wwe programming

im happy enough with the sheamus win and feel like jericho can fight punk at mania anyway...

but im still racking my brain trying to work out how they can go from 40 superstars to 30 superstars, and allow all THREE announcers to go in the ring. thats the worst thing i think ive ever seen at a ppv.

show at 30 was terrible too. i would seriously have preferred nash.

i wanted more (any) Funkasaurus...

EDIT - disregard, just checked wiki. Minute-long PPV squashes against McIntyre are OK I guess.

Exactly. Its the fourth most important match on a card that has Cena vs Rock, Punk vs ____ and Taker vs _____.

Also **** yall if you think sheamus and bryan cant put on an awesome match. its the classic big strong brawler vs little fast technical submission specialist. They could easily put on the match of the card with zero difficulty if all they had is 20-30 minutes and a good booker who listens to Bryan's input.

the rest i agree with. except c, sort of, cos that was never gonna happen.
Yeah, I get your point re: star power, but the whole Jericho thing, I mean...90% of the audience were really looking forward to finding out why Jericho hadn't spoken, what the cryptic return promos were all about, what "end of the world" meant, all that stuff. And then we get Jericho turning up at 29, going out and just acting like nothing ever happened, trying to ****ing pin someone during the Rumble, and then losing.

What does he do tomorrow? Is he gonna act like the guy who predicted the Rapture, and say "oh, actually I got it wrong, end of the world is next month"? Does he just come out and be a heel again?

I know Vince is almost single-handedly responsible for the fact that we're all actually watching wrestling in 2012, but Jesus ****ing Christ, the guy is such an idiot that it really makes you wonder if he got there entirely by accident.

I was watching the 1990 Royal Rumble a few days ago to get ready for this. Let's see, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, HBK, Bret Hart, Mr Perfect, Rick Rude, Andre the Giant, Roddy Piper, Jimmy Snuka, Jake the snake Roberts, Macho Man Randy Savage, Ted Dibiase, Dusty Rhodes

as compared to this year's lineup LOL.

Well the 30 minute part ain't happening, but I do think they can put on a really good match.
