I'm fully aware that if the Seahawks are getting more support nationwide in this game that it's about them being less hated rather than more loved, and I get it. I'm just relieved that people aren't blind enough to feel anything but venom for those ****ers in the Bay Area. I'd rather that both teams were widely hated than widely loved, because I wouldn't want to live in a world where the Niners were widely loved, and it's not at all difficult to shrug at Seahawks hate.

I think any honest Niner fan understands the hate. Its kinda like us Barry Bonds fans, we get it, and people MAY be right, but that doesnt take away any of the love we have for the man.

Even as someone who in many ways qualifies as a massive nit myself, I'll never understand people getting up in arms about the "we" thing in sports.

I didn't even know complaining about people calling their team "we" was a thing. That said, I might jump on the bandwagon but only for Americans (and other foreigners I guess) who choose to support one of the top English football teams despite having zero connection with the club.

But I went to my first game at like 3, had a season ticket for 20 years and went to most away games for a decent stretch too (including a few years in the third division, lol), and although I rarely go anymore I still refer to the team as "we". Haters gonna hate. Oh and I also call the English national team "we" despite having no patriotism whatsoever, just because I've followed them all my life.

Also it's weird that away fans don't get a set allocation in the NFL. They should think about changing that, would make the atmosphere much better.

That was an incredible promo. For years wrestlers ripped off Ali in both style and content for promos. Sherman might be the closest thing we have to an Ali presently.
