And here I halfway wondered if I was taking him too early. Alright I'll get back on the ball.

I'll take

Spoiler:

Although "self-high five" made me want to beat the **** out of something, I will look the other way and induct Diamond Dallas Page for his more positive attributes. A late bloomer, Dallas only became a full-time in-ring competitor in his mid-30s, and managed to work his way up to main event status during a boom period in the industry. Bonus points for the good PR he has drummed up with his philanthropy in his post-wrestling career.

Hmm.... I just realized that I don’t have a Mexican wrestler in my Hall yet. I guess it’s time to fix that. Based on his American run, this pick might cause a few to scratch their heads, but if you weren’t aware this man was as giant mega star in Mexico before moving to the WCW. A lot of people compare his popularity in Mexico to that of Hulk Hogan here in the US. Among his many accomplishments is being the first ever CMLL heavyweight champion. He was also the headliner on the show that holds the attendance record for a wrestling show in Los Angeles. He was integral is helping Lucha Underground establish its audience in its first season as the manager of Prince Puma.

With my next selection for my Hal of Fame, I choose:

Spoiler:
Konnan

Hall of Fame Class:

Spoiler:
Ric Flair (Inducted by Roddy Piper)
Buddy Rogers (Inducted by Ric Flair)
Bobby Heenan (Inducted by UNDRAFTED)
nWo (Inducted by Eric Bischoff)
Verne Gagne ( Inducted by UNDRAFTED)
Kenta Kobashi (Inducted by UNDRAFTED)
Dave Meltzer (Inducted by UNDRAFTED)

Gene Okerlund (Inducted by Hulk Hogan)
Mae Young (Inducted by UNDRAFTED)
Andy Kaufman (Inducted by Jerry Lawler)
The Von Erichs (Inducted by Michael P.S. Hayes)

Round 17, Pick 7:

Spoiler:
Carlos Colon

Colon had a nearly 40 year wrestling career. He became a popular wrestler in the Northeast and Canada in the late 1960's before helping Capitol Sports Promotions in Puerto Rico. Capitol Sports Promotions (later and more widely known as the World Wrestling Council) would become Colon's for the next 45 years. The WWC was a premier destination for the NWA's biggest stars in the 1970's and 1980's, and continues as Puerto Rico's biggest wrestling company today as an independent promotion.

Round 18, Pick 1:

Spoiler:
Perro Aguayo

Aguayo is one of the top heels in lucha libre history, and his matches against the top faces were always huge draws. He was the last major rival to El Santo in the 1970's and helped launch Konnan into superstardom in the 1990's. Along the way, he helped found AAA, which would become half of the duopoly that has dominated the Mexican wrestling scene for the past 25 years.

I’m going with a gentleman that can be described as the patriarch of maybe the greatest family in pro wrestling history. And if it isn’t the greatest, I know for a fact that it’s at least the biggest. His descendants are still making an impression on the wrestling business and other entertainment avenues today, and their doesn’t seem to be anything standing in the way of them continuing on for a long time. They say there are two types of Samoans in the wrestling business: This man’s family and UNDRAFTED.

With my next selection I will take:

Spoiler:
High Chief Peter Maivia

Hall of Fame Class:

Spoiler:
Ric Flair (Inducted by Roddy Piper)
Buddy Rogers (Inducted by Ric Flair)

You're using a dead inductor for Flair FWIW.

I know I'm up; I'll pick shortly.

Spoiler:

Arn Anderson, already in with a couple of different factions, deserves his own separate induction. Always very solid in the ring, great with character work, but most of all, there's an argument to be made that he's a top five talker in wrestling history. Just a top-notch pro through and through. In conclusion, **** Kevin Nash and all who like him.

Hey, I apologize for vanishing -- had a overnight trip out of town and spent the weekend basically sleeping to recover from it.

I don't know if I should try to catch up (shudder to think how far behind I am) or if I should drop.

Spoiler:

I've been resisting the urge to take Owen Hart, a personal favorite, for a number of rounds, as I very much wanted him to be part of my HOF. Though Owen's career was cut short for the worst possible reason, he accomplished a lot with the time that he had. After some strong work in Japan that included some great matches with Jushin Thunder Liger and others, his American push was set in motion in 1993, hit high gear in 1994, and continued going strong for another five years thereafter. At the time, very few in the WWF could keep up with Owen in the ring, and he was one of the most thoroughly enjoyable heels of his era.

Also Martha Hart has no reason to hate me, so I don't expect the same level of resistance that she understandably gives Vince and co. to inducting Owen in the WWE HOF.

For my next pick I’m going with a man who excelled as both a wrestler and promoter. Sometimes both at the same time. He was also a former AFL/NFL player too. His biggest claim to fame was owning and booking the Mid South territory, which was eventually changed to UWF and then sold to UNDRAFTED Promotions. He was known a Billy often times dining his wrestlers for the most minor infractions. He also had a rule that if a wrestler got into a real life fight and lost, he was fired. Later in his career he was involved in a racism scandal of sorts as head of WCW, but before that had the first African American can lead baby face in a promotion, and also crowned the first African American world champion.

With my next pick, I select:

Spoiler:
Cowboy Bill Watts

Hall of Fame Class:

Spoiler:
Ric Flair (Inducted by Shawn Michaels)
Buddy Rogers (Inducted by Ric Flair)
Bobby Heenan (Inducted by UNDRAFTED)
nWo (Inducted by Eric Bischoff)
Verne Gagne ( Inducted by UNDRAFTED)
Kenta Kobashi (Inducted by UNDRAFTED)
Dave Meltzer (Inducted by UNDRAFTED)
Superstar Billy Graham (Inducted by Jesse Ventura)
Nick Bockwinkle (Inducted by UNDRAFTED)
Gene Okerlund (Inducted by Hulk Hogan)
Mae Young (Inducted by UNDRAFTED)
Andy Kaufman (Inducted by Jerry Lawler)
The Von Erichs (Inducted by Michael P.S. Hayes)
Rock n Roll Express (Inducted by Jim Cornette)
Ernie Ladd (Inducted by Bill Watts)
Konnan (Inducted by Rey Mysterio)
High Chief Peter Maivia (Inducted by The Rock)
Cowboy Bill Watts (Inducted by Jim Ross)

Just some Inductor house cleaning. Jim Ross will be inducting Bill Watts, Bill Watts will be inducting Ernie Ladd, and to fix the dead inductor, Shawn Michaels will be inducting Ric Flair.
