The Flair/Steamboat feud didn't result in them becoming a Two-Man Power Trip and owning the prestigious tag titles either!

Are you saying that Austin/Vince sucked? Or that Flair/Steamboat was better?

Breakfast, shmreakfast. Look at the score, for Christ's sake. It's only the second period and I'm up 12 to 2. Breakfasts come and go, Rene, but Hartford, "the Whale," they only beat Vancouver once, maybe twice in a lifetime.

On a serious note, you are clearly the best poster in this forum. My "quitting" was merely an attempt to propel myself into the main events by feuding with the #1 guy. A few points:

- I am a big believer of free speech in all situations. There is an ignore feature for a reason. I have no idea who Hank Williams Jr. is.

- This extends to the facebook thing too. Like 90% of facebook statuses annoy me, but if people want to talk politics that's fine, you can always hide/unfriend them.

- On that note, I have been so close to posting in politics so many times but don't want to break the seal and end up getting banned. Reading that forum hurts my head.

- amplify requested a self ban in the BAN ME! thread. According to my calculations, this would have expired yesterday.

- "Phill, verbosity is not a virtue." - Pot, kettle?

- I have the greatest taste of music in this forum.

- Romantic comedies are amongst my favourite three genres of film.

- Please keep doing what you do, sir.

Amp's self ban was ended early. No idea why he has not returned to this forum, because he went back to POG.

This one deserved it's own post. You seem like a very stable and well-adjusted guy. Well guess what? Not everybody is. Some people really struggle with life and most of that is to do with nothing more than genetics and upbringing.

Also, anyone says things like "you're not a real man unless..." loses points in my book. Bravado really, really sucks. What's wrong with showing a bit of vulnerability?

I did post a post in the POG Facebook page telling him about this. That's one of the things that got him to cancel to self ban in the first place.

Well, then you'll certainly support my right to say things like this:

Me railing against the silly Facebook behavior of people isn't anti-free speech at all. It's an exercise of my own.

I assure you that I'm as maladjusted as anyone. Seriously.

(You are right to an extent, of course. However, you can hand-wave away a lot with "upbringing" and I do very much think that at some point a person has to have accountability as an adult. Unstable behavior should never be simply apologized away as somehow understandable/acceptable.)

Thank you for the kind words, everyone.

This might get zapped like the pointless off-topic ones that JKL puts up, and if it does then so be it. I’m going to narcissistically make it its own thread anyway.

My mind is an awesome and fancy free place where you probably always want to be, and so here I am to force you to either be subjected to it or actively avoid it. Without any further ado, my thoughts about everything in the world.

*If you want your favorite wrestler to hold a title more than six months after his debut, then you are part of the problem. The impulse for delayed gratification has ruined wrestling. It has also ruined society as a whole.

*Wallypop, you have the worst music taste in the forum aside from JKL, but you shouldn't change your avatar.

then i got bored

Fabulous.

Oh, I certainly support your right to say whatever you want. Of course I also have to right to tell you you're wrong

I guess you're right here too. The official "correct" stance is probably somewhere in between us.

so I was working long hours in a strange city and missed all wrestling shows for two weeks. then I was like wow, I have all this extra time in my life without dedicating 3+ hours to Raw, 2 to Smackdown, 2 to Impact, 1 to ROH, like 5 listening to wai ting, however many hours watching youtube clips, and untold millions posting dumb jokes about Sid's scissors and appraisals of how caliente Rosa is esta noche.

LKJ, you are a scholar and a gentleman and in honor of your lifelong service to this forum and wrestling in general I will now

*gasp choke gasp*

admit that you are right about booking

enjoy!

Well done on getting to 20k LKJ, I enjoy reading your posts and you keep this sub forum active and interesting by running pretty much everything. I think I've probably watched 5 Raws since the Rumble due to how bad the show has become and so don't post as often but I still come here every day to keep up to date with what's happening as it is a lot more interesting that just reading it off a news site.

But, I'm planning on coasting thru your next 10k, so delivering Amp will be my crowning achievement.
