I did not know it at the time, but Seat 7 and Seat 3 turned out to be very bad at stud8. This was one of the first couple of hands that I had played at the table.

You should be beat in both directions if seats are competent. I dont think we will lose less if we check and intend to call. Seat 7 and 3 should be capping it anyway so with that in mind betting out is clearly better. if you however intend to fold to jamming, sure check-fold.

I think on 6th there's an argument to be made for checking, seat 3 should be making a low with that ace a lot of the time and its safe to say that when he does, you are drawing dead in that side of the pot. And seat 7 could be full, so you could be drawing dead to both sides and facing the possibility of a capped street. Considering seat 7s action on 6th, its safe to say he ain't full, unless he's clueless.

I probably swear, curse and call the cap, then throw my monitor out of the window, when obvious hands split the pot. Which is >scenario than folding a winner and throwing your laptop after that monitor.

i feel like seat 7 missed some bets on 5th and 6th. unless he didn't have the full house yet. in which case im not sure how he would call 4th.

yeah your screwed on the river. if 7 isn't double paired i dont mind your play but dont bet into a probable full house and seat 3 said he had a better low. so if youre going to bet on the end make sure you know which way you are going to win or what you want to accomplish.

im not sold on the bet on 6th either

it's so hard to put seat 7 on a hand, I mean he's repping a flush or boat.

I mean it's hard to put him on a boat on before the river because I would assume trip 9s raises 5th and a boat raises 6th.

The only combos of playable flushes in the hole two low cards so 34 or 5 of spades. Maybe KQ of spades in the hole also. However I think that folds 4th.

He could have KK-TT 9 or something also and binked a boat. I mean its 3 to win 14. He can have a flush there enough that I think I just call and kill myself.

Also you when seat 3 raises you on 6th you can c/r on the end since he's betting 7th a lot. But betting isn't too bad either

I'm not folding your hand against unknowns. Your low ain't worth much, but I'd expect to take high often enough to make it worth calling down. Sucks though.

I would certainly c/c one on seventh, maybe two tops but only if I got caught on the installment plan. Jammed I would not call down. the 24QA probably has a better low, and it's highly doubtful one pair is going to win it for high.
