3rd with 3 diamonds already dead?

3rd street call is marginal with dead diamonds. You only have 5 outs on 5th, and you've got four outs by the time the river comes so... $37ish in pot (cuz you're obviously not playing for low), 4 diamonds/29 unseen = 13.8% to flush, bad odds, but the implied odds are good I guess. You've got no legit low draw, no straight cards. You just get really lucky river.

What I believe to be 'standard' play is that you would really need to catch low to your flush draw to continue in the hand, and with the 5 3 showing that looked unlikely to happen. Therefore the hand should have been mucked on third.

You must have missed the gutshot to a broadway hero picked up on 6th, with Ks dead and Kd already accounted for, that adds us 2 more outs, 20% equity looks far more prettier than 13%.

And if me must find reasons to continue on 4th and 5th, we are drawing to possible scoop, although thin with all the diamonds gone. It would be an instafold if 2 or more seats with lowcards would have picked up some possibly valid lowdraws on 4th.

Cant hate a fold on 3rd either...
