No especial reads on the dramatis personae by which they are at least competent in my eyes on evidence seen.

3rd Street: (1.28 SB)
Seat 1: xx xx 4 ____Seat 1 completes____Seat 1 3-bets____Seat 1 calls
Seat 2: xx xx 3 ____Seat 2 folds
Hero: 5 6 2 ___Hero raises___Hero calls___Hero calls
Seat 4: xx xx 3 ____Seat 4 folds
Seat 5: xx xx 3 ____Seat 5 calls____Seat 5 caps!
Seat 6: xx xx 6 ____Seat 6 folds
Seat 7: xx xx 8 ____Seat 7 calls____Seat 7 calls
Seat 8: xx xx 8 ____Seat 8 brings in for $0.20____Seat 8 folds

This almost seems insane to ask - I presume I can never, ever fold this.. but my hand is about as dead as can be... yet I have a 3 card 6...
When the re-raising starts I clearly cannot fold; however I suspect I'm making a rough hand at best..So:
Assuming you knew that a) 3rd will be capped and no-one here is being stupidly out of line
Spoiler:
(of the hands I saw no-one had any card >8)
; do you fold? I feel this is a dumb question yet I actually do wonder...
SIM has me at 25.18%; giving first two players 7's and last villain an 8.. however that takes no account of playability and that it might be hard for me to get much value...

4th Street: (17.68 SB) (4 players)
Seat 1: xx xx 4 6 ____Seat 1 bets
Hero: 5 6 2 8 ___Hero calls
Seat 5: xx xx 3 K ____Seat 5 calls
Seat 7: xx xx 8 4 ____Seat 7 calls

5th Street: (10.84 BB) (4 players)
Seat 1: xx xx 4 6 J ____Seat 1 calls
Hero: 5 6 2 8 A ___Hero bets
Seat 5: xx xx 3 K K ____Seat 5 folds
Seat 7: xx xx 8 4 4 ____Seat 7 calls

6th Street: (13.84 BB) (3 players)
Seat 1: xx xx 4 6 J Q ____Seat 1 calls
Hero: 5 6 2 8 A 9 ___Hero bets
Seat 7: xx xx 8 4 4 9 ____Seat 7 calls

These streets play themselves and I clearly get more than a little lucky..when seat 1 declines to fold twice I put him on a very good draw and he has not paired. Seat 7, I guess he has a smooth 8 draw (poss A2/A3 in the hole)

7th Street: (16.84 BB) (3 players)
Seat 1: xx xx 4 6 J Q xx____Seat 1 checks
Hero: 5 6 2 8 A 9 T ___Hero checks
Seat 7: xx xx 8 4 4 9 xx____Seat 7 checks

After seat 1 checks should I bet this...I am never folding; however I suspect I am not going to like being raised as SIWAS is not common at this level; especially in these kind of pots as I can't imagine both other players would fold for one extra bet getting silly:1. I also think that if seat 7 has made any 8 he is not folding...just not sure how many 8's I actually beat given the dead cards. That all being said x/r is not that common down here either and I think if seat 1 has made his 6 (which I feel sure he's drawing at) he'd probably bet/call and if he loses so be it...I know I would...

I limp 3rd street and dream of the remaining trey. I don't raise; I let sleeping dogs lie. It got capped on 3rd, but *you* are the one who popped it...

I popped it to try and get it h/up.....err FAIL!!

:- I can't limp as pot is already completed; obv I could call and watch a pied piper effect..I would prob have open limped had the option been available..
:- Counterfactual time - I call; it gets 3 bet (which knowing the cards would have happened) and hero..... or
I call and we get 3 more callers and have no real idea of villains ranges...the reason I could assign the two villains a strong range is that they took 3 to the face on 3rd...I know most of the maniacs at these stakes and (whilst it's possible they could be closet maniacs/meds were working) I had seen no signs of it yet...

btw - am not having a go at you at all...I think this is one of the oddest pots of Razz I've played and am trying to gauge my thought processes and see how they were...even now, when I look back at the pot - I actually wonder if folding was better..and yet folding seems insane given our holding...

Seat 8 opens, seat 1 completes, if you call (no, not limp, call), who's going to raise?

Seat 5? Seat 5 calls when you raise it originally and only caps when faced with the inevitable. (Nice cap, seat 5!)

Seat 7? Seat 7 calls calls.

Seat8? with his door-card eight? Not I, said seat 8.

Btw, with so many dead cards, you can dump this on 3rd if you have some crazy idea that it will be jammed. I can't dump it because of a character flaw: I can't dump any hand in a fiddy-cent game, but I tend to sleep on the sidewalk.

Wait wat? Villains have ranges? You popped it, so tell me, what were their ranges? Show all your work.

Btw, seriously, somebody will go to propokertools and demonstrate your .00005 equity edge. But you're on third street with 4 more betting rounds. You've got too many dead outs and only one dead pair. I think the power fold here isn't bad. Tommy Angelo would be proud.

why does it seem insane tho? because under other circumstances it's a beautiful starting hand? In flop games beautiful starting hands always rate the same, but in stud games like razz the dead cards don't just make your starting hand seem better or worse, they make it actually better or worse.

In this spot, I put your starter at a power rating of 13, comparable to (26)7 without accounting for dead cards. Not an unplayable hand, but surely not a premium one, and you're facing an EP opener with lots of babies to act behind you. I wouldn't fault you for folding, and if seat 2 had been the opener I would applaud you for it.
