Rolled Up, played right in 3 and in 4? Rolled Up, played right in 3 and in 4?

OK, inaugural post. 50/$1 hi/lo game on Full Tilt.

Here's my insight on the other players involved. I've seen Seat 4 play split kings too far before, he might just stay on again. Seat 6 is not horrible, but could also be in there with a hand like 238 in this situation. He's all in in 3 anyway, so not really important. Seat 7 is solid, and since he started jamming he is 80% likely to be making this play with either a 3 baby flush or 3 connected (a one gapper is possible too), and 20% likely to have A-x 7. Seat 8 is loose and I immediately assume him to be on split queens. It will take him a while to catch on that I have him beat with my Ten door card.

So did I play this right in 3? I think I did, but I didn't like locking out the split kings. How about in 4? Given my range for Seat 7, I figured the 3 to give him a gutshot and make him sure to bet out. Although Seat 8 might have been dumb enough to call 2 bets cold (hey, he came this far already), and I might have been able to get this street capped. Error, or well played?

I think it's pretty straightforward the rest of the way, especially if you consider that I would only have missed half a bet from Seat 8 if Seat 7 bricked 7th and it got checked down, while i risk losing two full bets if I bet out and Seat 7 hit his gutshot.

Thoughts? Thanks for the feedback.

P.S. What h.h. converter do you guys use? I don't particularly like this one, but it's the only one i found for stud h/l.

You're playing .50/1, and you're rolled up. Assuming the button on the right is the raise button on Tilt also, that's the one you want to be pushing a lot. Just because you're telling the world that you have trips doesn't mean the muppets in the other seats are listening.

"So did I play this right in 3? I think I did, but I didn't like locking out the split kings".

Yes, you played Third St. right. Since you have that ten showing, you have no deception anyway, especially with a king and queen to act behind you. You won't fool 'em anyway, so you might as well go ahead and raise.

"Seat 8 checks, Hero checks, Seat 7 bets $0.50, Seat 8 calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.50"

Here is where you made a mistake. Checking it to Seat 7 was definitely better than leading into him. If you figured him for a four card seven, and a gut shot, he would raise for sure, and that would have possibly driven Seat 8 out, and you don't want him out. So you check, knowing that Seat 7 is going to bet it. Then, after Seat 8 calls for one bet, you raise it. This invites Seat 8 to call a single bet twice, which he's more likely to do than call a double bet once. It gets even better if Seat 7 re-raises after you check-raise and Seat 8 calls the double bet after having tied himself onto the hand with his initial call of Seat 7's bet.

That is what I would have done: check-raised.
