Request for Info on Seven Card Variation.

Has anyone played or seen played a variation of seven stud where the three hole cards are first dealt with the 4th card as the door card? There are many variations of seven card stud, but I haven't seen this simple variation mentioned in the books I have on poker or on any poker website.
This variation would have a lot more playable starting hands and action than traditional seven card stud.

Most of these variants are called "Super" Stud games. Welcome to the forums.

Oddly, I just found my S8 and Stud Hi series!
