So, apparently I suck at HU Razz big time. Any criticism regarding the following four hands is appreciated.

Full Tilt Poker $15/$30 Limit Razz $3 Ante - 2 players

3rd Street: (0.4 SB)

Hero: A K 2 A___Hero bets

5th Street: (5.2 BB) (2 players)

Seat 1: xx xx 3 T 5 3 xx____Seat 1 raises____Seat 1 calls
Hero: A K 2 A 5 A 6___Hero bets___Hero 3-bets

Final Pot: 15.2 BB
Seat 1 shows 7 2 3 T 5 3 A (7,5,3,2,A)
Hero shows A K 2 A 5 A 6 (K,6,5,2,A)
Seat 1 wins 15.183 BB
(Rake: $0.50)

I thought the raise on 3rd was fine since he raises two to a wheel the same way. Overly spewy on 7th? Would Bet/Fold have any merit or is Check/Fold the best option?

Anyone like a raise on 4th and/or 6th? Looking back now, maybe I should have bet 7th?

Check/Folding 7th probably? I just feel like that's so weak looking that he'd bet it regardless of whether or not he hit anything worthwhile.

I really had no plan for this hand, so getting overly involved was really dumb. Regardless, would something along the lines of a Check on 4th, repping a good-ish low draw and allowing him a free card to slightly improve be better? I feel like once he hits the 4 on 6th, he's coming along for another bet. 100% Check/Fold here on 7th as well?

Seems to me you are trying to steal/bluff WAY too often. And being WAY too agressive with mediocre at best hands.

I would suggest just trying to play your hands straight forward and stop all the fancy plays for now.

Hand 1: Either call the raise or fold..3 betting is completely unnecessary on 3rd. Fold 7th when he reraises you.
Hand 2: Standard
Hand 3: Check/Fold 5th or Bet/Fold when he raises you
Hand 4: This hand is a complete mess imo. I fold 3rd personally, and if this is the same villain, as the other hands, then i am never folding to you here either. Your image is so bad by this point that there is no reason to even go along with this bluff after he caught good on 6th.

I'm not a HU specialist, but except for hand 2 this looks pretty simple really. You're putting a bunch of money in with two card hands, which makes a big pot that both of you are going to fight tooth and nail over, which means you're going to have to show down the best hand to win.

Don't go nuts with two good cards and a lot of these hands are easier to play. If the pot is small, villain may be willing to give it up for one bet later and, maybe you won't over-extend yourself with tricky bluffing maneuvers trying to win it.

HU you should be playing the majority of your hands for value because the starting pot is very small and the information you have about your opponent's hand is so limited.

Seriously reconsider how you played:
Hand 1 3rd, 6th and 7th.
Hand 3 5th
Hand 4 3rd and 7th

Hand 2 looks fine.

Simple ways to win at HU razz. Cut way down on your bluffs, value bet 7th more.
Call down more. This is like 80% of HU strategy.

+1

Almost no one will believe you by the time you get to the last one of these. Unless you are trying to set someone up for a future match in some metagame dreamland, I think everything except hand 2 is giant spew.
