was just trying to steal but than action goes really weird, looking for some tips were i maybe should go different

Personally, I wouldn't be trying to steal in this spot with your chipstack where it is. I think you need more chips to make this kind of play so that when it doesn't work it doesn't hurt as much. You ended up putting in a fair portion of your stack trying to continue the bluff. As played there's not much else you could do differently. Seat 5 is obviously awful making that call on 5th and he probably has you beat on 7th but it's still tough to lay down your J low for just one more bet.

i think a check on 4th street is in order;
if seat 5 then bets call;
if seat 5 checks/seat 7 bets then raise...

if the others will call you on 3rd with K & Q as a door card they will call you with the cards that came on 4th (your 9 on 4th isn't that scary to them)...

if 4th checks through, then you are in a better position to bet on 5th if you catch good...then the odds/risk ratio would be 3 small bets worse for any caller

if you catch bad on 5th then you can get away from your hand on 5th if you get bet and raised...

as played you appear to the villian to be ahead on 6th with a made 9...i think if you bet 5th you should bet 6th (but you can expect to be called usually) unless you are trying to set up a c/r later (but because of player moving to other tables, i don't think mega game ideas are as important in tournies as in cash games)
