Playing this guy for only about 200 hands in full ring. He is playing 65/16/0.58 for a 33BB win.

I don't have much experience with PT so I am mainly wondering if it is purely luck.

I am aware 200 hands is not ideal.

Variance no doubt.

He's probably the greatest razz player in the history of life.

My best BB/100 single table session in Razz is 185 BB/100. I only played one hand though, which I won and then I got up.

I have a couple of 200+ hand sessions around 15BB/100. My vpip was much lower than that guys though. The deck must have been hitting him really hard. Sometimes loosies make the most money because they're in more hands and when they run good, they're just in more hands to get lucky with.

I've been in Limit Holdem sessions where TAGs including myself have gotten demolished while the goofiest fish rake in pot after pot and dominate the table.

I have had sessions of 300+ hands at 2/4 where I've run +25-30 BB/100. Although variance is a bit lower imo in razz, it can still have some great/horrible swings especially depending on your playing style.

I had like an 8k run of cards about a year ago where I ran above 15bb/100 for the whole period. It was incredible to say the least. I definitely had some sessions where I ran at above 30bb/100 for hundreds of hands.

Edit: but I'm the 2nd best player in the history of life, so, YMMV
