I was pretty new at the table, but at the time I think I had some initial idea Seat 4 was a tad loose and pretty aggro pre, and Seat 2 was a loosie.

The River C/R took me by surprise. I think I should call there as the pot is pretty big and I don't know if Seat 4 is capable of a bluff move with a missed draw. He can see I likely have a made 8 on 6th. I think I played it right the rest of the hand, but comments about anything are welcome. On third, I thought it would be advantageous to discourage Seat 2 from coming in, but he call a raise cold anyway.

Its an INSTA call, i dont like "because at this limit" but few players c/r a worse 8 there or just think they are in valuetown with there rivered tough 9.

Additionally, when you fold there with that good odds its an EasyToExploit(=ETE)-Spot for thinkign players. Vs unknown this is obv a instasnap.

I know you are searching leaks but it seems as you are lookign at the wrong spots. Dont know what should be difficult at 7th play here. Did you thought about a raise? That would be pretty bad. At this limit i would almost ever bet out again unknowns, but against solid regs you could play 7th c/c when you think they c/f UI.

When they always c/f there UI, you can easy exploit them and bet any trash there.

You're beat on the end. But I think you need to cough up the $1 anyway; I would. At the very least, you want to know his range for check-raising the river.

Sorry, your question mark was after the river raise by seat 4 not at the start of the river action after he checked to you.

No, because he could have paired the 4.

Just seems like one of those moments that you sometimes have to deal with. Whilst your bet might have been a bit on the laggy side, you certainly can't fold. Call and write that one off to beer. Or something.
