Osc, thoughts on crazy rail you had to play through?

The hell with trying to concentrate through that. I, personally, would have tried to do something about it. Osc seemed unfazed.

Well played, Osc. Kinda depressing, streaming it. When 4th's a brick and 5th's a pair, it's difficult to come up with a play that will get them off their w w w.

God that HU was brutal. Every hand Osc would get ruined and Danzer would get rescued by the runout. Every hand.

Osc had no shot with the way the cards came. No poker in it at all once it got HU.

There were so many hands where Danzer would peel in a terrible spot, then Osc would catch paint, pair or whatever for the full suffer. Easily half a dozen of those hands.

Think it was like 1.8 million to 1.5 million at start of heads up and 50k/100k level. So like less than 20 big bets each. Obviously you and other regs in this forum have more stud/razz tourney experience than me, but what you described seems typical of a razzament. Obviously frustrating to be in a spot like osc where there's not much you can do but bleed bets here and there bc of the runouts. Obviously a great start to wsop for osc though.

Thanks a bunch guys. I'm still having trouble processing that HU, I will need to go over the live stream replay. I might have been able to just dump my equity on 5th streets to find spots where he was drawing worse, but 6th streets are supposed to break ok some of the time I continue to rep. His timing was just too good.

The hand with 106 v 109 was standard, I think, unless he peeled bad on 5th and I forgot about it. But good for him for betting so thin 7th. I was thinking I might have to bluffraise if he led and I caught bad, and I was planning on raising for value fairly light as well, but the T was a pretty funny card.

Danzers rail was annoying, but they supported their guy. Eric's song and dance was incredible, and I hope there is footage of it. I had a bunch of support, and it wouldve made for a super sweet bracelet photo, but it wasnt to be this time.

Yeah and there are more players for holdem events and thus you would normally get a bigger multiplier for that. In addition he just placed 15th in the Horse and got some more points

Really pulling for Brandon. Remember him being a solid Razz reg on FTP. Hope he has continued success!

A friend of mine (not on these forums) who fancies himself as a very good razz player also watched the HU and commented to me that what struck him the most about Osc's play was how he continued to play correctly to the bitter end, when most people would've tilted given the circumstances.
