It's too bad the Sun isn't worthwhile competition for FW.

I'm keeping you away from razz games for your own protection. Kinda like kids/scissors.

What would be the correct ruling here? Playing Stud hi-low. It's heads up after 4th street. 5th street - both check. 6th street - both check.

7th street - dealer deals both cards face up!

At the time, the 2 players just checked and accepted the up cards, but it had the table wondering. Especially since nobody could recall ever seeing this particular error before.

Thanks in advance.

Generally, you can make a decision to cease betting and go to showdown or play as normal.

That's what I was thinking. I'd ask the first to act if he wanted to open betting. If he said no, we'd go to showdown. If he said yes, I'd ask the 2nd to act if he wanted to open the betting. If the 2nd said no, we'd go to showdown. If they both had said yes, they could open the betting.

The 1-5 stud hi still runs Mon-Sat afternoons @ Pocono Downs in exotic Wilkes-Barre, PA.

I even found an mtt I could afford once in awhile, the 40$ turbo nlhe on Mondays.

[I have been on runbad ever since BF, Including bonus whoring video poker @ Mount Airy, it's that bad...since we're talkin' live cash, this gets mondo expensive for a SSI recipient- ME -so I've taken up trolling old tv shows on Hulu.]

Some1 lemme know if they ever get a 1-5razz going weekends @ the Taj. 3 more stamps on my bus coupon and I can get a weekday overnight room @ Resorts [LOL FML etc.]

Oh, b4 I forget... congrats, Chips, hope u got 2 bring some home.

If both cards are up, play continues with a betting round.

If the first card is dealt face up, and the error is realized, you deal the second card face up and continue with the betting round.

If the first card is dealt down and the second one is dealt face up, there is no more betting.

I have seen one other variation in a 3 way pot at the Golden Nugget in a tournament and I'm not sure if it was specific to their room, because it was a tournament, or how its always done more than HU, but it was as follows:

3 way on 7th, first card is dealt face up and the error is realized. The next two players are dealt face down and the betting round continues except that the first player is considered all in.

The stud game at Pocono Downs is running 6 nights a week? That's good news. Any other stud action there lately, like higher limits/more then one table?

Also, what about Sunday? Thanks for in advance for the info

i'm pretty sure no Sundays, older lineup, i thinx their wives make em take the day off [kinda a holdover from the old blue laws here, i guess ].
any higher limits will go once a year, October, night b4 the Breeder's Crown [big harness racing shindig]... but likely no more than 5/10. Only other option in these parts below 30/60 is Taj.

Yea, pretty much the same as it was then, but it's still good to hear the 1-5 game is running strong. Next time I'm in the area, I will definately stop in for some stud. I have'nt been back there for close to a year. We are getting a weekly Saturday night 5.00/10.00 stud game going at the Meadows, in case you're interested. PM me for the details,if you wish.

Thanks

If 1st card is up all subsequent cards are dealt faceup. If 1st card is down and 2nd card is up all other cards are down and player with faceup river has the option to be all in for showdown with any other betting creating a sidepot. Or if he likes his hand he can choose to bet or call on river players option.

I've never seen 20/40 Razz running at Commerce ever, and I have been there quite a bit. I could have missed this though. It's usually 20/40-30/60-100/200 Stud High. There's almost always at least 1 20 or 30 table running and a lot of times 2 tables of each. 100 supposedly runs a lot and is a very good game according to a few HSLHE players, but again they are LHE players so who knows?

From what I've been told, razz is a regular in the higher limit mixes so yeah you can probably find it that high, but probably not straight.

A little bird told me 20/40 Stud 8 runs at the Bike, but I also hear it's part of an O.E. mix, and have heard the same about Hollywood Park.

FOR YOU LOW LIMIT GRINDERS:

L.A.'s Friendliest always has 4/8 stud running so you can always find a game there, and a few weeks ago when I called the Bike, they told me they get a 4/8 Stud 8 game running daily, sometimes 2 tables.

I have been to Commerce many times, and have never seen a Razz game going in the high stakes area.

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/27...-razz-1082643/

now he says it's a mix game; but then says there has been razz every day; so idk if he means as part of the mix game or on its own.

Maybe I just suck at reading comprehension tho

Went to the Bike AND Commerce last night.

Commerce: Lot's of Stud High, 20/40, 30/60, 100/200. When I was there at 4pm all 3 of these were running strong. When I left around 11pm, the 20 was still going (might have had 2 tables not sure), the 30 was full, and the 100 was short handed.

Bike: I was there from 6-9, and they had 2 tables of E.O. running strong. Both full, both looked like good but not great games. As for razz, there was some razz. I was sweating a friend in a 80/160 mix for a little and their rotation was 2-7/Badeucy/Badacey/2-7 Razz/Omaha-8. He mentioned 2-7 Razz is a better game in terms of action and played more often in mixed games
