For those of you that have an interest in changles, I've noticed over the past several days, that unlike before, there is never more than 1 changle per table. Previously 2 -5 of them at a table was the norm. I wonder why all of a sudden there has been a change. has pokerstars made some restrictions related to how many of them could be at a table?

also, i have noticed recently, that unlike before, when i rarely saw them play 7 card H/L, i see them sometimes there now.

i wonder why the changes recently.

and for those not interested in changles, no need to pay attention to this post at all.

i decided to inquire to pokerstars to see if they inacted any new rules regarding this restriction. my response from pokerstars was the following:

I know this has been discussed before, but was never sure how serious or real an issue it was. Ceegee and Lambchop (and others), how did collusion occur, at what limits and how serious and long-term an issue did you feel it was/is?

Personally, I never felt like they were colluding. That being said, I didn't much like playing against a bunch of them as it was too tough.

but it's all over now. once one is sitting in a table now, no other can sit in the same table. Stud at pokerstars is no longer a prisoner casualty of changle. as a result, there probably will be fewer games of stud going on, but they will all be fairer or at least now have the perception of being fair. it's been a long time coming.

notice, that in pokerstars email to me that they never admit that there was collusion going on.

If they admitted it, then that would open the door to massive refunds. To me, the step they have taken is an admission of a problem. I assume this is just Changles. and not Belgians, Canadians, Italians or any other group.

So after all this time, and debate about these guys colluding, this strikes me as the best evidence yet that there was an actual problem. Sure does not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling about the integrity of the on line game, considering it took so long for Pokerstars to act.

its a city. people from changle fuzhou and fujian can no longer play at the same table.

this is complete bs, as there was three people playing from brooklyn... obviously this was aimed at the fuzhous.

indeed, this is all good stuff. now the stud game can become good again and many players that left can come back. the best thing pokerstars has done in a while. not sure what took them so long.

No hard evidence, just more of a bad feeling. I quit playing on Stars over a year ago with one of the big reasons being these guys. I did real well against one but did awful when more than one was at the table. Maybe I didn't adjust but everyone else seems to have thought the same thing. As for the limits, I pretty much only played 2/4 and 3/6 on stars.

Changle, fuzhou, fuijan, etc suckssss soooooooo badly at stud 8 particularly. I don't know much on how they do on stud high though. and I don't mind more of them sitting on one table even if they do collude. They suck at it and donate.

One negative side effect of this change is that there are now less stud games going on and at times there are no games going on at all at a particular level. no surprise, given that they supplied most of the bodies for the game and with them gone in force, the games will break more easily and start up more slowly. hopefully, those stud players that left will start to come back seeing that there is a level playing field now.

and hopefully, when pokerstars sees that there is now less activity in its stud games, that they don't decide to change their minds about the restriction that they implemented.

i also think that the chinese players are very smary and will likely find a way to get around this restriction somehow by fooling the system.

I'm not a Stud player so just an observation from reading this thread.

Have the players from this city stopped playing completely now that they can't play together?

Will they be heading to FTP sometime soon?

they have not stopped playing. every stud table has a changle in it. there is not a game with a changle in it. so, they have not stopped. they just can't play together anymore.
