I do too, because he was almost more douchebaggish in person than online when I met him. And it's not psycho lag, it's psycho horrible.

2nd. Bah. A luckbox luckier than me in the above hand won when his 7s held up against my AJs.

I'd also like to announce without reservation that I am the worst Pot Limit Omaha player on this or any other earth. It's swingy, I seem to run dreadfully AND I'm bad at it. So I shall nit it up when it comes along in the 8 game rotation and avoid it altogether otherwise. THAT IS MY PLEDGE.

Jeff Hwang's book on PLO is pretty solid if you haven't already read it. Obviously, the key to the game is to flop the nuts with a redraw or two. Naturally, this comes up once every couple thousand hands. What you're supposed to do in the meantime is a bit of a mystery. I think that if they went from an eight-game mix to a 73-game mix, PLO would still be my worst game.

**** out of you when you lose to ppl in razz who have no idea what they are doing?

hi guys im new to 2p2 and kinda but not really new to razz ive been grinding razz hus for a month or 2 now. im just starting to put in some decent volume in the $11.50 turbos im tryin to get on the sharkscope leaderboard, i should be there in a few weeks. but it seems like almost every ****ing day i end up losing to the biggest moron that doesnt even remotely know what hes doing but somehow manages to keep a decent stack til the blinds get high and then i jus get the SICKEST bricks in spots when he gets in alot of bets drawing soooo thin and somehow holds. but ya obv im tilted right now but it would help to find out that some of my fellow regs go thru the same thing. am i alone???

yes it does! Especially when playing a HU match for nearly 1hour and winning the whole match but not being able to finish them off since the limits are so low and slow (PS!) and then they win a miracle hand towards the end and basically beat you in 1 hand or cripple your stack when its obvious you are better than them.

This is why I just play Razz Cash games now.

ya i had this guy down to 51 chips earlier and he literally jus ran like god for the rest of the match it was so sick, mainly because if i played this guy 10 matches in a row id easily win 9/10 obv not 10/10 cause of the sick varience that can occur. i wanted to harm a small animal =(

If you want reduced variance, perhaps you should take up LHE or PLO?

A raft of poker literature is available these days, not just on Unlimited Texas Hold Them Poker, but also from respected figures like Todd Brunson and our very own Ray Zee on Stud Poker With Two Pots One For High And One For Low Poker. I claim no particualr expertise, but the easily available resources mean it is not difficult to at least learn enough basics to make sure you're not a total fish. Yet remarkably, there are still people who will try to bluff you off a two way hand with an open pair of tens...
