idk, but compare if you bring normal and everyone limps vs you complete and everyone calls. Is there going to be a huge difference there? Compare that to if you bring normally and you get a couple limps then a complete now you can raise. I think you might thin the field a bit more going about it that way, no?

Probably. No one was raising 3rd everyone was limping though. It was a terrible game. I probably was a little tilted from playing in it.

Did he have a flush? I can't think of anything else he'd be drawing to.

LOL @ seat 7's play.

Folding the river would be AWFUL, especially in this spot where you really haven't a good enough read to go by.

Tilt and induced mental confusion at the atrocious play is far and away my biggest leak in those tournies.

At least once I've just decided to go ultra-lag spew b/c I can't stand to play it anymore and want to get back into a good cash game.

FWIW, the upside is it makes me feel like Phil Ivey

The one scenario in which I am most likely to bring it in for a full bet is when I have a big pair in the hole and one of my trip cards is gone. In this case, however, that Ace is the one good door card showing, and it's on your immediate right. He is by far the most likely to raise. If you bring it in for the minimum, some of these loose players call, and this guy pops it, you can make it two bets and hopefully shut them out, leaving some dead money in the pot.

Beyond that, I think you put in an appropriate level of aggression. You have to pay off the river unless you know this guy won't bet with just the Kings, which is pretty hard to know.
