looks ok to me depending on your table image. this is one of those hands i don't always play for fear of bricking and i'm holding that damn queen.

It might be depending on the game and the players at the table. It worked out for you here as you caught good while your opp caught bad. Sometimes it doesn't go so well, with you bricking off or some idiot calling you down.

Calling a LAG down should never be enough to get anyone labeled as an "idiot"...

If you know that a guy will raise 3rd street after a limper, when he's holding (A-Q)-6, then you can profitably call that guy down in a whole lot of situations.

Which leads to one of the reasons that LAG play in Razz pays off -- if you have a LAG image, you will get a lot more value out of your good hands because your opponents will never believe that you have the goods.

The trick, and I'm only just starting to figure this one out myself , is how to keep that LAG image while actually playing a lot more to the TAG side than your opponents will give you credit for.

This had been the first bluffish play I made in any of the games. So my image is pretty safely TAG. WIth that in mind, is this a profitable play?

Well, it isn't all that laggish, really. A guy limping ep at this limit is most often a bricker. You complete with a brick, but with A6 you are approximately even. You only have to get thru the 8, who does call, but surely with a much worse card up. The rest kind of plays itself. It's fine, your problems will come if you get to showdown and they see what you are playing. Then you have to know how to play with opponents who won't fold.
