My BR is now at the point where I can comfortably play 2/4 and not worry about swings. Is there any real difference in play between the two levels? I see a fair amount of .50/1 and 1/2 players (some of whom are awful) at 2/4, so I assume there can't be a huge difference.

Anyone have stats on their winrates that compare these levels?

I haven't seen any difference in the level of play but I just started taking shots at 2/4 within the past couple of weeks.

If you're playing at either Stars or FTP, 2/4 has a much better rake structure than 1/2. (No rake taken until the pot hits 20 bucks.)

In my database on Stars, the rake at 2/4 only averages to 2.25% of the pot, and you need to move up all the way to 10/20 for the average rake to go below that. (Yeah, 3/6 and 5/10 pay a higher rake percentage than 2/4 on average.)
