I'm trying to figure out if these guys are playing poker for a living. I play 2 or 3 Saturdays per month and these guys are always there. I understand table selection but I cannot understand these guys moving tables so often. One of them sat and played at my table 4 different times this past Saturday. I just can't see any advantage in doing this but I sure do enjoy taking their money.
One more point. Some of them need to rethink their etiquette. I have routinely seen them criticize the drunks/fish after taking bad beats, to the point of running them off. I'm never the best player at the table but even I can recognize this.
I think I know who you're referring to. They typically wear back packs, play until the win anywhere from half a buy in to a full one, get up and leave. They hang out for a little bit, and then sit down again with 100bb.
They're punks/posers that think they know what they're doing. If they did, they'd be sitting at 2/5 or 5/10. And they do berate players when they stack off, but they never show their cards.
I think it's usually a guy and his brother/friend, but it's never more than 2 of them. Right?
