That's nice as well, anything is better than using 2+2 to get table and wait list info.

This is a great idea. Especially since David the room manager is currently band from posting on 2+2.

Why is the room manager banned from posting on here?

Keep those higher-LIMIT games going please!!!
When did they run a 10-20?! I hope this is a continuing trend, I will be visiting a lot more often is this game runs with any consistency. I would have even been happy with an 8-16, the couple times I went, they only had 3-6 (not fun btw).

I think there is a rule that the room managers need approval to post.
I hope he can get "unbanned" so we can start getting some more info again from the source, I know him from Showboat, he's a really good guy and I am sure he meant no disrespect to the rules.

My understanding was that he had gone through the channels to get labeled as a room manager but the mod that banned him did not realize or his account had not been updated.. Nonetheless, he is still banned.

The floor proceeds to kill my hand. I flipped out! Asking for his supervisor and the rulebook and all sorts of ****. I have never played anywhere that kills a hand in a heads-up cash hand for exposing a card
They dont have exceptions to this rule. Exposing a card in a cash game is a dead hand. I believe it's the same in tournaments. It just keeps the game clean.

Finally made my first trip to the sands. Went last night at around 1130 and got immediate seating at 1/2. Action was pretty slow for a 1/2 NL table compared to AC. Out of a 9 player game, 6 of the players were playing under 80$ stacks. I'm not sure if that's the norm but will report back on my next trip.

In a TR stated a page back about a player exposing his cards heads up. This came up when a player prior to completing his action' had asked the dealer if he could expose his cards and the dealer said he can do whatever he would like since it was headsup. The prior TR said floor was called and his hand was automatically mucked. The situation came up again during the next dealer and reconfirmed that cards can be exposed while action is heads up. I hope rules like these are universally enforced to keep the integrity of the game.

Overall it was a first positive experience at the sands and will return. Despite the shortstacks I managed to profit 400 after 4 hours of play.

Sunday afternoon, they had it going, went until 12AM at lease, very solid game, good players, average stack was 600 (lots of dead money), every knew the game, there weren't any no-limit guys screwing it up...

I am glad to hear about the consistency in ruling.

I will be there on Saturday and will try to update wait times a few times throughout the day.

Anyone in the room now that can post the wait lists for 1/2 and 2/5? Friend of mine is heading over soon.

Friend just got there, didn't give specifics, but about 3-4 people on each list, but he said "still busy".

It's a different game altogether. Any GOOD player can adapt to it, though.

I was just commenting on the players that were at the table for almost a half hour and then try to push all-in. (true story).

Went in today around 11:30am. I waited for about 20 mins for a new table. Sat for 2 hours on the $1/2. After that the wait list went to about 5 on each table. First visit to the casino. Lots of action. NEED MORE TABLES. I can't imagine a Friday/Saturday night.

Gonna dig through some of the message archive here shortly, but just figured I'd post a quick message here and ask what fixed limit games are typically offered at Sands? Aside of course from the typical 2/4 game.

No 2/4 LHE games offered at the Sands. The bottom level is 3/6 LHE. The thread has mentioned a few bigger LHE games that have run in the room, but I have only ever seen 3/6 LHE in my trips to the room.
