Thanks.
They pretty much DON'T RUN. They just concluded a tourney series and even with the increased traffic, it still didn't run. The LIMIT games were pretty much 2/4 and 20/40 (which sometimes went to 30/60 or 50/100) and a 10/20 O/8 game. The rest was all NL.

yes, i was there tonight playing 2/4 average pot is about 20 -40 bucks depending on how full the table is.

on a totally separate note what gives about he freeroll being dropped in favor for the money give -aways on friday??? it's not like they weren't pulling enough people in to the room.....plus you no longer have a $50 tournament anymore.

The freeroll is still listed on the website though?

They made a few changes to the daily tourney sched. that went into effect on 12/5. I don't remember exactly what they were though. Website hasn't been updated yet.

What exactly was the comment say it here let us decide how bad it was and who said it.

There is no excuse for poor customer service in the casino industry... Have you lost it?? Im not even going to elaborate because there is no need to elaborate.

FWIW I posted again largely because evidence is more meaningful when I've already raised the relevant issues. Before I might have been an unlucky customer, or someone with a long memory for dealer mistakes who ignores everything that ever gets done correctly. But when I've publicly committed myself to certain statements and then a dozen more egregious things happen in a 6-hour session, it's more likely that there's a problem. (It's a bit like the old question of how likely it is to get aces twice in a row... the relevant answer depends a lot on whether you started counting before or after you got the first AA.)

Anyway, I won't recount everything here, but there were a lot of mistakes made that should never happen in a card room. I should also point out that there are many excellent employees there, and even more friendly, enjoyable people in the room.

And for whatever it's worth, I'm not posting anonymously--my basic personal info is easy to find, and I'd be happy to say any of this in person.

All my best,

--Nate

My go-to place is the Microtel just a mile down the road; it's a comfortable, no-frills type of place that is often cheaper than any local alternative. There's also a Super 8 somewhere in the region. Sometimes the poker rate at the casino is as cheap as the Microtel.

Priceline is your friend.

The super 8 is right in Oneida and is < 5 minutes fron TS. Room rates will vary based on the usual factors (availability, date, room type, etc) but can get as low as under $60/night.

My point is if you have a problem let the Managment team know. Putting it on here is helpful to us players I admit that but it won't solve the problem. No shift, time frame or actual name was mentioned which i respect because you don't want to call out people involving their jobs unless they deserve it. My one questions have you told Jason or Mike any names or times? I have went to both before and problems were fixed. I know Mike as a player wants issues resolved he always email me back with answers to my questions. I do know for a fact he does not post on here anymore you have to contact him on FBook or Casino.

Chris--

Yeah, I didn't want to mention names like that, but to be honest I don't know peoples' names there yet either.

I've mentioned a bunch of things to staff there, and they're not very receptive. When I've started conversations with the floors, they're usually pretty dismissive of me. To be honest, though, I haven't really tried to strike up a conversation in person about the issues I've mentioned, so I don't know how they'd react to it if I did.

I'm also really skeptical that my saying something in person instead of here would make a difference, but who knows--you could well be a better judge of that than I am. And maybe you're right that I should just stop playing there. So far I've been too stubborn to do that, but you can take solace in the fact that almost everyone else has taken your advice.

All my best,

FWIW I have never had a problem there over the years that I have been there. Granted I have seen a lot of faces come and go, but i haven't had an issue of dismissive staff or floors, especially when I had a problem.

their tournament schedule is HERE and they offer 1/2 200 max buy in and 2/4 limit pretty much all the time, with an occasional 2/5NL or 20/40 limit game breaking out on weekends, and lately I have heard a 5/10 or 10/20 limit Omaha 8 game going off as well.

As for what you should play, those tournaments are okay considering where TS is located. The 1/2 is also fine to play.

I'm thinking about going up for New Year's eve and day. How likely is it that they would have 2/5 NL going the whole weekend?

.
20/40 and 2/5NL def go every Friday. 2/5 also usually runs on Saturday. The 5/10 omaha8 game goes every Friday, Saturday and some Sundays.

I play 20/40 somewhat regularly over the past 5 years.

It probably won't run overnight but it will run on Friday and Saturday for sure (as mentioned above). It being a holiday weekend, I would say it has a chance on Sunday too.

ID and money is all you need. Not sure why you think you'd need anything else. Good luck.
