You might try staying at Samstown their poker rate is $45-$55 resort fee with no or the Shoe next to the Strike their rate is the same as the Strike but they don't charge a resort fee. Or you could go to Bally's they are charging $25-75 with no resort fee.
Thanks for the info. We like to stay at the Shoe or GS just because those are the two rooms we will be playing 99% of the time at and it's nice to not have to drive late at night and since it's a group, anyone can leave and go to the room whenever they want. I really like the Shoe's rooms, but I know we will be playing at the GS more.
In the past, the Shoe has never paid any attention to how many hours we played there, even though we've always given them plenty of action. Is that still the case? If so, I might call and see if they have rooms available.... We might play 10 hours one day at the Shoe and none the next, I just don't want to get into a situation where we end up paying the full rate for a night because we didn't put in enough hours at the Shoe...but again, this has never been an issue in the past. Thoughts?
