Can you please quote or scan the part in the brochure about the hours and other important info? Restricting the hours to play a 3,000-chip turbo before noon means that no SNG may ever run! As long as not all 11 tables are being used anyway, players should have the option to sign up for one SNG just like they can sign up for Omaha.

The other OLG Slots locations had more starting chips:
$75+$5 - 6.3% rake - 5,000 chips
$90+$10 - 10% - 5,000
$140+$10 - 6.7% - 5,000
$220+$10 - 4.3% - 6,000
$320+$20 - 5.9% - 6,000
$540+$20 - 3.6% - 8,000.

Woodbine players should fill out the green feedback form to increase the SNG hours, have three payouts, and add an MTT.

Those SNGs sound fun. Nice and fast with low rake.

Live sitngos are pretty much unplayable because of 10+% rake, and the fact that they take forever to complete despite a super turbo structure.

Did they get 5/10NL yet?

OLG has only licensed them for max $5 blinds--which is also why they can't run decent limit games.

I'm kinda new to Toronto.
Where are the best places to play 0.5/1 , 1/2 NL live? (with people not slots)

Niagara Falls has three casinos, two of which (Casino Niagara, and Seneca just across the border) have 1/2 NL.

Casino Rama in Orillia also has it.

Woodbine has it near the airport, but it is electronic tables as opposed to actual dealers and chips.

0.5/1 NL does not exist.

Does anybody know how long points are kept in your account for redemption for food and beverages? I went two months ago after not playing in about 6 months and I had no points on my card. I should have had about 10 dollars, thanks..

Ask Winners Circle. They converted to cashable rewards for awhile now. For example, when I bought into a $220+$10 SNG, the PokerTek system put in my $5 cash reward and withdrew the rest from my account.

Can anyone in here offer some comparison between Rama and Fallsview in regards to:

1. Rake structure and
2. level of play w/ number of tables

Fallsview is $14/hour in rake via 2 session fees and Rama is 10% up to $6? or $7? can't remember

Fallsview gets 10+ 2/5 tables on the weekend and I'm not sure about Rama

Not sure which is better to be playing.

Rama is best to play at during its Monday tournaments. For example, there were 8 tournament tables on October 28 and up to 4 cash game tables as of 1 PM. As tourney players got eliminated, some of them helped open up a new cash game table. Woodbine in comparison has failed to run their SNG tournaments past noon, so there were only three tables running as of 1 PM instead of Rama's 12 full tables.

Rama's rake is 10% up to $6 for 1/2 and probably the same for 2/5. You have to hand in your card to a supervisor to get tracked for rewards.

Woodbine is 10% up to $5 for 1/2, 2/5 and 5/5. You automatically earn 50¢/hour in cashable rewards. Since there is no tipping, you save at least $2/hour compared to a live dealer.

Fallsview has the terrible Bad Beat Jackpot rake so you lost at least $16/hour in rake. It has zero rewards.

How many 2/5 tables run per day of the week? Rough estimate.

Rama is too far for me to play a cash game, so I only know that the Tournaments Mondays are busier than Fallsview/Woodbine. I'm guessing that Fallsview is busier on all the other days, e.g., ~five 2/5 tables on Thursday night and couple of 2/5 tables on other weekdays.

If you like 5/5, then Woodbine may be the best option. If Woodbine lets an SNG run by noon, a 5/5 table usually opens after.

Ive been to Woodbine every weeknight for the past 2 weeks and there has also been at least 1 5/5NL, sometimes 2 and always 2 2/5NL games. Thats probably your best bet

I am in Toronto on business and will have a couple of free days this week. I only play 1/2 and from what I have read, my only options appear to be Casino Rama or Casino Niagara. Are there any differences between the two? Better games at either one? My hotel is in Markham and looking at Google, it seems like Casino Rama might be a little easier of a drive.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Games are comparable at both locations, I would head to the one that is closer. From Markham, Casino Rama is the clear winner.

Another option is Woodbine Racetrack with only $5 max rake. The best time to go to Rama is tournament Mondays, such as November 11, when all 11 tables will probably be running by 1 PM.

Niagara Falls will have a 15-minute fireworks show this weekend, so I am thinking of heading to Fallsview Casino, and find out when the Fallsview Poker Classic satellites will start.
