Play 25 hours in the week during Sundays through Fridays and get a $150 Visa gift card. Just need to sign up for their player tracking thing to get your card and they swipe you in at the tables to keep track. Last month was a $150 gas card and you could get it a max of four times in the month I think.

How nitty are the dealers about clocking you out when you go for a smoke, to the can, or whatever?

I'm new here but on the way to play, post here if you're going to be in the room and want to meet up. Usually take a lady friend but going solo tonight.

So Hard Rock spreads 1/2 and 1/3? With the max being 100 for 1/2 and 300 for 1/3? Are both spread at a pretty good rate?

Hey there, gents.
Name's Josh, just turned 24, living in Orlando.

Pumped to discover shortly after moving here (got out of the Marine Corps in June, in Orlando for MMI) that there was a casino in Tampa, and, obviously, will be hitting it up sometime this week.

Combed through the last 10 or so pages of the thread, which answered most of my questions - but I wanted to ask you guys how the tournament structure works there. I saw on their schedule they have regular NLHE tourneys daily, but, being a complete casino virgin, am completely unaccustomed to their workings. Was interested in how many players these tourneys tend to attract regularly, and what the payout structure looks like in relation.

Will be dropping by soon. Thanks in advance.

Yes both are going 24/7. I dont play graveyard but maybe the 1/3 games might die out at 5 or 6am but Im not sure.
Any given day you are looking at 6 to 12 1/2nl games and 1 to 4 1/3nl games.

^ TY

Is there a specific reason why they do that and don't just spread 1/3? Seems like the obvious choice unless you like playing 1/2 short. I assume the casino makes more $ spreading both games...

Tourney structures are horrible imo. Derby Lane / TB Downs have far better MTT structures, and its not much farther to either. Ring games are def juicy though, if you're into that.

Lol, that's great. Did a supervisor get called? What did they do?

Also, I saw they had a 10/25 going, which I thought was surprising given that it was a Tuesday night. Didn't know that ever went.
