The drift on inn has undoubtedly taken the title for the best poker on aurora, ainec.

They have $200 high hands every hour until 5pm, then they bump it up to $499 every hour until midnight.

They usually have 2 different 3-100 spread games, 2 different 2-10 spread games (which might be the softest game ive ever played in, which for those who regularly play on aurora, is definitely saying something)

They have a 6-12 O8 game with a 10-20 kill that runs every day with amazing consistency. They have a 6-12 HORSE list that never seems to fill

They have a free food menu that is so-so, but also have a bigger menu that you can get $9 off on.

And the best part about Drift on Inn... 18+!!!!

Lucky for you Tulalip is where the best nl action is. Thursday is probably the best night. Friday is usually okay and Saturday is usually pretty good. If there is a big tournament on Sunday then there is also good cash game action.

Snoqualmie is only worth going to on Monday's but is well worth the drive. There is usually 4- 5/10 games going and 2-3 2/5 games. Crazy action.

Muckleshoot is trying to get a 5/10 game going on Wednesday's but I don't think it will be that successful. Otherwise you will rarely see a 5/10 game there but the 3/5 games are usually pretty good. The first Sunday of the month is always good action at Muck because they run a huge promotion. HOWEVER, the consensus from most people is Muckleshoot is primarily responsible for banning online poker in Washington, thus I have made the decision not to play there.

Hope this helps.

Can you expand on this? I don't even care if it's hearsay. I just remember a time I played a tournament there and I was talking to another player about something online and the dealer (wtf?) said something like even mentioning online play is illegal or something and they were supposed to report it or something to that affect.

It was unbelievable but I don't really remember the exact wording but the general message was something like: don't talk about playing online poker because someone who is licensed by the WA state gambling commission (dealer or floor for example) can be fined or get in trouble somehow for learning of someone playing online but not reporting it.

I was in disbelief. This happened a couple of years ago and I don't think I've been back since but I do wish I could have remembered what was said word for word. It was obvious when he said this that he was trying to end our conversation to protect his own interest in that at that time the Muck's poker room business was down and I'm guessing some dealers/floor blamed it on IP.

Would really like to hear more on what you've heard etc. I used to be a HUGE reg of the Muck and other local card rooms (diamond lil's) btw.

Diamond Lil's in Renton always has 8-16 and 20-40 limit games going. On the north side, Drift On Inn has had 8-16 whenever I've been there, but that was before the recent changes that have boosted bigger spread-limit games.

I used to play at Muckleshoot a lot and never experienced this from the dealers/staff. The only thing I know for sure is this bitch:
http://www.margaritaprentice.com/
got the law introduced/passed. Why did she do it? Likely she got some money from Muckleshoot but again I don't know for sure.

check out this thread that just started on 2+2 as I was typing my last post.

This same lady also supported a Keno gambling bill. She had some quote that said that Keno was better than video poker because you can't lose your money as fast. We need to get rid of this fat bitch.

Funny, I just read that thread and posted. It's obviously not coincidence I used the same adjective you did to describe her.

I'm going to be calling her.

Can anyone give some sort of list of casinos that are spreading the 3-100 games, that seem to be the new hot things in the mini-casinos?

Last I checked they had $65 buyins, monday through thursday night at 7pm (registration starts at 6pm) Monday and Tuesday were generally capped at 50 players, Wednesday 70 ppl, and Thursday was getting about 100. All muck tournaments are 10k chip, with the weeknight tourneys having 20 minute blind levels. It gets pretty ridiculous a couple hours in, but the 10K chips is pretty nice for the first hour or so.

When people say the house takes 15 out of 65, what they meant was that its 5 for the house, 5 for the dealers, and 5 for the 'royal flush pool'....so yeah, basically 15 for the house...

However, a couple months ago they did away with the royal flush pool, making it only 5+5 that they take, and started distributing the royal flush money by adding $500 to each nightly $65 donkament. This was a very popular change.

When they removed the royal flush pool and started adding 500, they had a huge influx of players, and actually had 110+ people on at least two thursdays I'm aware of.

I haven't been there in about a month so call before going in to make sure. Don't bother reading their website because its a cluttered piece of junk that is never updated, and I wouldn't trust anything it says. Generally Wed and Thurs nights were the good tourney nights at muck if you want a field close to or more than 100 players.

Last I heard muck had a $20 unlimited rebuys on saturday mornings and a $225 on sunday with 30 min levels.
The $500 added money ended two Thursdays ago. One thing that changed is that they are allowing alternates for the first 60 minutes. With 100, an additional 15 players got in that night. Not sure if this is only for Thursday tournaments.

Hideaway in aurora has had 3-100 on weekends pretty consistently for a while now, weekdays it's kinda inconsistent. The drift on in (also aurora) is giving a ton of money away in high hands (more than anywhere else) so they are getting a lot action lately too and I've seen 3-100 run every day there. Club hollywood sometimes gets one table of it going on Fridays (they run it w/blinds of 2/4, max bet 100).

I've also heard that red dragon in mountlake terrace (just a lil bit north of aurora) has just started running a 3-100 on fridays, I called them and they said it usually starts around 6. I'm not sure about parkers, they have mostly limit games but since goldies has a foothold on the pit action parkers is now mostly poker with pitgames in a smaller area. Maybe someone else can comment if 3-100 has ever been spread at parkers?

Hope that helps.

Just got to town and played Muckleshoot all night on Thursday into Friday am, then went to Snoqulimee this morning. Squal is a very nice room with a glassed in room to avoid the slot machine ringing. Very nice room - new, but my issue was asking players in an 11am tourney to quit the cash (2-5) game to take their seats to start the tourney. Usually people can make their way over to it when they want. Muckleshoot has a nice high hand bonus going, at 5am in the middle of the night only 2 tables were competiting for a high hand bonus $100 every half-hour. Nice feature. On Sunday, (First of the month) I'm told it's $500 per 1/2 hour. Older room, decent action.

going to be in Washington for a few weeks later this month and wanted to get some input where to play. i will be around the bremerton area and willing to drive around an hour (preferably less) to play some poker. if its longer but worth it, ill make the trip. 1/2 nl. 1/3 nl. 2/5 nl. something like that would be good.

what are my best options? obviously i want good action and a nice room - what would you guys recommend for the area im in. which rooms should i check out - hopefully ill be able to make a couple trips to play some poker.

thanks.

Haven't been there but your closest option is probably Little Creek. They used to have a decent 5/5 NL game that started on Thursday around noon (not sure if this game goes anymore?). Next option is the 3/5 NL at Muckleshoot. These games run all the time.

Washington State law at tribal casinos only allows a $500 max bet (+3 raises). At 1/3 and 2/5 this is hardly ever an issue since the pot is not that big. Non-tribal casinos only allow a $100 max bet.

Are there any decent apartments near the Muckleshoot or does anyone around there have a room to rent lol? I looked online, but couldn't find much. I stay in Tacoma, work in SeaTac for now, and I find it too tiring to go back and forth to play after work.(traffic sucks obv.)

in terms of distance, clearwater might be about 15 minutes closer to bremerton than muckleshoot. muckleshoot has more tables though. gl

has Clearwater started to run some NL (500 max spread) games now? Could be worth the ferry boat trip if they do

Seven Cedars Casino in Sequim (hour north of Bremerton) has some very soft no-limit.
