I saw there wasn't a thread for Sandia so here we go. I have been playing here for about a month or so and have really enjoyed it. nice clean room with good fast dealers and not much low life (unlike my time in vegas and AC).
Stopped here on a saturday afternoon on a Long road trip. Very nice room. Good game selection. Completely enclosed room. $3 Max Rake!!! And beautiful scenery outside the casino.
All in all one of the nicest places I've played but it's 1000 miles away.
I'm going to be in Albuquerque in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone's playing here during the week? What games are usually running? Also, how many runners to the Monday and Tuesday night tourneys get?

Right now Bravo shows a 2/5 NL and 3 1/2's. Is that pretty normal? Anything bigger run on the weekends? How is the 2/5, same tight regs always or is the game pretty good?
I haven't played there in a few years, but if you are visiting just keep in mind its the largest of a half-dozen or so card rooms in ABQ and I would argue the best of the lot, the most likely to host a more major event series and most likely to hold a larger game like 5-10 on a busy weekend. Personally I have only played 3-6 limit there as I went during a slower time. I like a lot of the aesthetics of the Isletta property better, but it is much smaller.
During the spring, they have a fairly major (ish) tournament weekend about one weekend per month Feb-May as a "WSOP bankroll builder" type of tournament.
Its a solid card room worth the drive in if you are in NM, southern CO or far west TX.
Out of towners are typically weekend players. During the week you have locals and of course truckers, for the most part.
