The series of tournaments looks like a nice schedule, but the lack of any guarantees shows their short sightedness.

I don't think they realize how important a guarantee is to many tournament players. People aren't going to take a day off of work to play what may be a $400 sit and go.

No slot machine noise but there is a Intercom PA system that blares out the rewards winners. Floor said it'll be removed ASAP.

Kind of mad, a floor manager lied to me and said there would be a 500k gtd.

They think they can just parx it up from the start and not have any guarantees and that is absurdly wrong.

I might be going to baltimore now

Parx does fine without guarantees

True, but the Big Stax is an established series of events.

I could be wrong but I think the $280 buy in $200K guarantees all reached the number they needed. This time there is no guarantee.

For the $100-$400 buy ins I am not suggesting some crazy amount. $10k for the $100 up to maybe $20k or $25k for the $400 would bring in more players than no guarantee at all. For proof, look at how many entries they get on their Monday and Wednesday Night tournaments compared to the nights there is no guarantee.

Parx also put Guarantees on their first big series. Sugarhouse has yet to have a big series, just a few 100K GTDs

Ok so ill bet $250 that event 1 prize pool exceeds 150k

And an additional bet for $250 that event 28 gets a prize pool of 250k

This is a joke, right? If not, you have no idea how NJ online poker works. Sugarhouse is not affiliated with any NJ casino.

I went to the new room for the first time last night. The only flaws I saw were too few TV's and the one screen with the tourney clock needs to be fixed so that the whole clock shows on the screen. Other than that, it's really nice.

I also love the new constant high hand and the fact that if you hit one of the multi hour ones you have 30 days to collect.

Gotta fix that TV issue prior to March 16th!

If there aren't TVs everywhere that's a big misstep. That was one of the biggest problems with the tent.

yea I asked about the tv's last Friday night and was told they still need to bring the ones over from the tent to fill out the room.

I bet they're gonna leave the room with just 2 TVs because that happens all the time.

Has anyone played in the 6-12 H.O.R.S.E. game they run every Wednesday? Is it just one table or multiple? I'd love to play some low stakes live mixed games.

I always try and get a 1/2 PLO game started but no one seems interested. Anyone know if it ever gets started?

All 28 tables are full. 10 people on list for a 2nd PLO table, 42 people on list for either 1-2 or 1-3.
