yeah so same tourney except instead of a 14k overly, they take 16k vig.

16% is still pretty good for a midwest tournament. prolly a good value even if they don't sell out.

Just hopped in the car to go play some 3/6 O8 and called in for a place on the list, only to find out the list is an INTEREST list (with me being first on it) as the game broke less than an hour ago. WOW! Has this happened much lately?? Only reason to haul my cookies to MKE is for the O8. May as well play in Hammond...

When a guy says something like this it tell me one thing about him...
that he really has played the 3/6 O8 at the Potawatomi.

Yeah I sit down with a rack of pink and they start complaining about me having pink chips. Now hes going to have to make change blah blah blah. I was only staying till called but those old guys need to learn how to keep games running. Just depressing worse then the old stud game.

Keep the game running? You mean like when a 3rd person walks to bring the number seated down to 7, and they start whining about not liking to play "short-handed"???

FFS, dudes, learn to adjust.

1/2 RxR was going early Thurs morning with 7-9 players, later becoming a soley 1/2 PLO game before dying around 4-5pm. Rake capped at $5. Betting post-flop was rounded to nearest $5.

Meant to say 1/2 RxR was going early TUESDAY morning. Great that rake capped at $5 not $6. Could this catch on? Not much preflop raising when converted to 1/2 PLO. Shouldn't scare newbies to live PLO.

I hope this is going on Friday AM...

Anyone playing 1-2 during the daytime tomorrow? Instead of the classic "sup bro" I'd like to see raises to $14 as a "Hey I'm a 2+2 poster" secret at the table handshake.

Called 2 days ahead of time on last tourney and they were sold out, they definitely need to change registration so late reg's can get in--there's gotta be space somewhere.

but thats the thing, there is no space. they have 20 tables and that's it. they aren't willing to open tables in other rooms outside the scope of security cameras.

consequently, the overlay tournaments fill up with ease. not sure if this upcoming one will sell out or not but if it doesn't they let you register all the way up until start time.

Damn, I've had 1800 and that was by far the most I had ever seen anyone have at the 1-2NL. 3k is just amazing!

Anyone know what the hell the story is behind the guy losing his mind (in the Finley jersey) Friday afternoon? Threatened to break a guy's eye socket, then went racial as security was escorting him out.

Attention Potawatomi floor staff, here is how you do it
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Venet...32658470147301

Real-time updates about games being spread...

(One thing I would add is the phone number to get on the list in the About Us section)

Packer game and Brewer game killed the tournament interest yesterday - only 20 players.

A facebook page would be great for the room. I know for a fact I would check it before calling in and asking the floor ten different questions about which games are running, how many tables, interest lists ect.

Since plo started 5/10 doesnt run whenever I'm there at least. I dont like must move either its for a reason, but I like to pick my table. The phone I cant complain because I played when you couldnt have a phone or ipod at all. The only home game I know about now is a 15/30 limit. A few years ago there was some good 5/10 home games but not sure about now.

Dumb yes, nits? Not so much...I do agree that 600max for a 3/5 game is a little shallow. It SHOULD be 1k but we don't run the poker rooms, they do...for steady bigger action you will probably have to head to the Shoe in Hammond.

Anyone call up the Poto lately and see the # of registered people for the November donkament? I have a feeling they wont fill this one because they aren't adding in any money but there was a solid demand down the home stretch for the last tourney so who knows--wouldn't be the first time I was wrong.

Sorry I'm sure this has been answered, but I was thinking of heading here tonight.. how's the action on Thursdays? Should I expect anything other than 1/2 and 3/5?
