It's $10ish on the gothels, and about $7 each way on the jersey turnpike, plus another couple bucks on the PA side. Plus gas, so good luck beating all that.

I think the staged rollout was part of the political dealing that went on to keep the current licensees and indian interests from pouring lobby money into a campaign against the amendment.

Salamanca used to have 1/2 but it's super isolated, There is a college IIRC near it, and it used to be close to Cleveland and Erie, but these days I doubt it even still has it. Seneca Niagara on the states side has a few tables, but since they put poker on the Canadian side it's dead. There was a third up that way that had poker but that shut down a while ago. Now with Pittsburgh, Cleveland, And Erie all having rooms..
Turning Stone used to have pretty good action but those days are also over. It's also 45 minutes from Syracuse/Albany.
I'm sure slots/tables will pull a modest profit, ala mount airy, but poker action will be sparse if there is anything at all.
