Just looking for a little info.....how have the games been on weekends? Full? Soft? Coming up this week for the holiday and will probably be up there a lot. Also in general what is the minimum on craps? In my mind I feel like I saw $10 minimum there before but could of been loopy from leaving there at 5am one morning.

Will probably hit up the Mohegan Sun also but for some odd reason I prefer Mt. Airy.

This weekend mohegan sun has a $10,000 hot seat promo. Im guessing most of the action will be there.

Games are like 1/2 anywhere else, nothing else runs but will be 5 or more on weekends. No clue on craps.

PLOh at mount airey? lol not a chance in hell. You'll never see anything besides Holdem. Even if they got a good amount on interest list for a different game, the dealers most likely won't have a clue on how to deal it

Omaha hi/lo actually ran at Mount Airy on Saturday night. There was a group of 5 players who contacted the room earlier in the day to get it of the ground. I didn't play in it, but I heard the game was good and it ran for several hours.

Very interesting. It ran a bit when the room opened but eventually died out

Had I known that I'd have taken a skip out there. O8 with new faces would be fun, plus I'd love to see how many dealers there could run the game properly. That could be entertainment in and of itself.

The one Time I did play high low there which was when the room first opened, it was bad. Every single hand the players had to declare to the dealer what hands won and who gets which half of the pot.

There are few guarantees in life, and it is a guarantee that never improved. They never deal the game.

In all seriousness hopefully one or two competent (and honest) players that can read boards properly are in the game. Otherwise it is mistake and angle shot city.

A buddy of mine went up one day last week since it's less than an hour from his house. Upon arrival he was told the poker room was closed due to "weather conditions". Normally I wouldn't believe it but nothing autopsies me with this "poker room"

Strange I dont recall any bad weather last week. However, I'd be afraid if any poker room anywhere were to autopsy you.......

Mount Airy Casino is the WORST CASINO I ever been to !!! Mount Airy must be going broke, the grounds suck, the buffet food is dirty and disgusting, they have no money for fireworks or anything good. They give you bus comps and the dealers take them and RIP THEM UP saying they are no good. This place takes away your JOY, which is the reason anyone goes there. The casino steals your money, if anyone is winning they first change dealers, then send the manager over to scare the person and have 5 people over to pull the winning players off the floor and escort them out of the casino. If you want to have a great time, DON'T COME TO MOUNT AIRY CASINO! STAY AWAY from this disgusting casino! Run by GANG Members who will make you feel like crap, I saw 3 winning players attacked, screamed at and escorted off the floor by security people while trying to have a good time here. go anywhere, but, don't go to Mount Airy Casino, it sucks! Then the buffet food was overpriced, disgusting and had a piece of hair in it. Totally DISGUSTING place.

LoL!! I've only ever won at Mount Airy AND I was able to walk out on my own. Super soft poker room and $10 craps. Does life get any better than that?

Is this an easier poker room to travel to from NYC than Parx or Sands? How many tables/whats the action/stakes like?
Quote

Pretty much only 1/2 with the rare 2/5 on a Fri or Sat night. Few tables weekdays, few more weekends. No comps, small room but soft games.

Was there tonight. As of 8:00 there were only two 1/2 tables running and neither was full. It was pretty depressing. Place is a dump.

The action for this little place continues to amaze me.

I was there on Friday afternoon and opened the second table of 1/2.

By 11 PM, there was over 8K on the table, with me having the 4th largest chip stack at 1400. There were only 4 tables going and it was totally seat belt time, there were so many chips flying.

Of course, one of the action players got kicked out, and the big table died from there, but it was fun while it lasted!

I heard they brough a cage back to the room and food service. Supposidly they also are now giving $1/hr comps and offering daily high hand and random seat promotions. However the room is still upstairs.
