I beleve if you have good reason to beleve there is a trait toward the bug , if you call your health provider and detail your temp , cough or respiratory distress and let them know you want to be tested for all Corona issues , they will comply, as the hole worlds is watching.

In a year, we will have a better handle on this, hopefully social distancing measures will have worked and we will be closer to a vaccine.

Has anyone been there over the past 24 hours? What's the state of affairs?

Bravo shows:
21 tables of various games with 17 1/3 tables.

They are even running the Friday Satellite.

It looks like it is running normally.

Except for the cloud of coronavirus that has encircled the entire poker room. Also, sounds like little if any 2/5, PLO running, let alone 5/10?

Anyone on the ground who can report on the level of coughing/sneezing/eye-rubbing/nose-blowing at the tables?

Business as usual. Don't be afraid of your freedom.

Right, so your plan is to stay home for like a year?

What does containing a public health crisis have to do with fearing freedom? If anything, helping to curb the spread of the virus is all about protecting individuals' freedom - to live.

Maybe you don't value the lives of the elderly and infirm enough to see that though.

The casino is pretty dead.. The poker room is slow for a Friday. There was a great 2/5 table going. I didn't get a chance to play in it as I had to go. Plus, the action spew player didn't play for long.

There was one player at my table that was coughing and everyone was looking at him like WTF.. He said, " I have allergies."

Other than that one guy, "with allergies" things seemed pretty normal.. There was like 4 or 5 guys in the room wearing gloves at the table.

That's great. As long as it's not possible to be asymptomatic and still be able to spread it. Hmmm

As long as the testing and medical facilities dont get bogged down. Are you purposely not paying attention?

Bruce, why does not knowing the exact time frame matter?

You want a time frame?

Long enough to ensure this thing infects us in stages and not all at once is the key. Short-term social distancing (like not going to MGM for the immediate future - a week or two . . . at least) reduces the risk that we all come down with it around the same time and overload the healthcare system, which cannot accommodate us all at once and will need to prioritize beds and respirators for the elderly and immunocompromised.

Get it?

And people actually do have allergies this time of year, with pollen levels rising in the springtime. But I doubt that player just had allergies if he was coughing rather than sneezing though. He was simply being inconsiderate.

My wife went by Costco just now on her way to work and she said, "people were packed together like sardines in Costco. "
