The WIFI has been working great the last few days. No issues for the morning/afternoon(whereas it was unusable before). Can't say about the night.

Thank you !!

Everybody thinks it was high. And they still show up, myself included.

Same.

A lot of talk about how much people were going to tip when $30 was already taken out - on top of the $40 "house revenue" fee. Almost $60,000 taken out of the prize pool for the dealers right off the top.

Not something I had to worry about LOL. But I also dont know how it compares to other events in this price range.

Played it last year. Pretty fun tournament with a lot of casual players that don’t play much casino poker. Will definitely be playing in it this year.

+1. It's one and done so no chance to fire multiple bullets. You get a goodie bag of swag and there's a prize wheel as well. Fast structure but how else can you finish a 600 entry field in 1 day. Great times.

If you looked up "soft field" in the dictionary....
Seriously, there were people who had obviously never played live before.

Johnny,

Practically everyone I talk to universally loves everything about the way Encore Boston is run. Specifically, the cap limits on games and the use of Poker Atlas (can put your name on wait list directly from their website while at home for instance) over Bravo. Is there any chance you'd consider changing MGMNH over to either of these things?

Just FYI the games there are structured this way:

1/3: $100-$300
2/5: $200-$700
5/T: $500-$1,500 (time raked)
T/25: $1,000-$5,000
25/50: $5,000-uncapped

You can do this with Bravo too, assuming you have a players card and presumably the room permits/enables it. (MDLive supports this.)

Please for the love of all that you consider most holy do not lower the cap of 1/3 to 300!

You are aware most of the current 2/5 pool would migrate to 5/T in this scenario and the 1/3 pool would split between a slightly bigger game ($200-$700 2/5) and a slightly smaller game ($100-$300 1/3) right? You're acting as if a majority of the 1/3 action would be downgraded to a smaller game when that isn't actually the case.

In my opinion this would be a vast improvement for most of you who play 1/3 to get away from those that like to nurse $40 stacks and make the current game absolutely miserable for anyone actually trying to play poker.

This is not true.

Besides that, is there anyone even complaining about the quality of 1/3 and 2/5 in this room? I say don't try to fix what's not broken.

The best thing about MGM 1-3 is the $500 cap. Would hate to see it go.
