Sign by the escalator...if it’s the same Snacks that’s at Bellagio I’m going to gain so much weight.

Will the current bank of safety deposit boxes be moved upstairs or will there be entirely new boxes upstairs? What do existing box holders have to do to move their box?

It is the same snacks. Menu items are the most popular things from our current market with a few items added in.

The bank will not be moved. Current box holders will need to get their contents from the boxes downstairs and move them up to L2.

Couldnt agree more - but it is *awesome* that there is apparently going to be a nearby food option.

Definitely will be there tomorrow am.

I've never been to MGM but those machines exist at Foxwoods and I'd pay money to be able to do this!

The new room looks great! I’m a big fan of having a bar and snack bar so close by. Also appreciative of you all having kept the self-serve coffee station, as well as the new semi-private room for nosebleeds. And thanks for the personal tour, Johnny!

I would like to welcome everyone to our new poker room! We opened the new space at 6AM this morning. The new room was expanded from 39 to 46 tables. We now have a 10 table elevated high limit section, with 2 of the tables located in a semi-private poker salon.
There is also a Snack bar (appropriately named Snacks, after the similar venue at Bellagio). Snacks will feature all the popular items from the National Market restaurants with a few additions (Chicken teriyaki bowl, Spring Rolls).

We also have over 250 slots in the new space, along with an Off track betting site for horse racing. This area will be operational mid-week next week.

Finally, we have a really nice bar area up there, along with bravo self serve kiosks to allow players to get on the list more conveniently than before.

There is a smoking terrace for the players that offers one of the best views on the property. To access the area, guests can take the parking garage elevators to "L2" or the escalator from the casino floor.

There will be a couple of rules/policy changes:

2/5 NL games will be spread 9-handed

In all games with minimum buy-ins of $100 or greater, we will only accept $100 bills at the poker table. All other transactions must go through the poker cage.

Also, players will be able to purchase their first buy in directly from the registration desk at the front of the room for added convenience.

I will be happy to answer any questions anyone has about the new space. We really hope everyone enjoys this area, and look forward to your feedback.

Thanks so much! The coffee station is not operational now, but will be soon.

Initial impressions:

- Feels fresh and nice to have a dedicated space for poker. The snack bar is nice and some good news options.

- The room is about 2x louder than it was downstairs.

- The 2/5 area is very cramped, not sure how anyone will get a comfortable massage over there. Would be nice if they moved the 2/5 games back towards the high limit room where the tables are way more spaced out.

- Can they get the two vertical TVs to display the list on either side of the brush stand? Right now there's no designated place to find the list.

- Was nice to see the cage fully stocked with more employees working than what we are used to downstairs. Hopefully this is the norm.

Also to the joy of all, the safe deposit lock unlocks when you open the door from the inside. No more locking the door after you leave.

We are working on the spacing, and may reassign our games to different areas to accomodate. The vertical TVs will have property digital content. The two TVs on either side of the POKER sign at the entrance will have the list... I think the volume is due to the excitemtnt. Hopefully will recede in a few days. It’s kinda odd, because slot noise seems nearly nonexistent.

Thanks Johnny, didn't even notice those TVs at first since I came up the escalator side.

I know it's early but do you anticipate only using the private high limit room for exclusively nosebleed games when they run? Or do you plan on using it for the biggest game running in the room on slower days (Mon-Thurs)? Would be cool to have the 5/T + largest mixed/limit game running back there consistently and the 2/5s getting 3-4 of the top section tables at least during the weekdays.

JG, really excited for the new room.

Sorry couldn’t share the excitement as I am out of the country.

We likely won’t use that room for anything less than a 25/59 NL or higher. Occasionally we may do something different. If we ever do any poker streams (similar to Bellagio POTS) it would likely be from that space...

Trying to get a 6/12 mix game going. They’ll spread it with a 5 dollar time rake.

Planning to play HORSE+2-7TD.

I'll be coming tomorrow. Looking forward to it! I see that 45 tables are running now - great to see that the capacity increase is already being utilized.

Really hope this isn't the case long-term - noise reduction was the #1 thing I wanted from the new room. Some ambiance noise might be good for a room, but too much makes it tiring.
