2-2 $200-$500? I'll be there tonight and will definitely try to get it started.

It might be a great way to ease the introduction of PLO to NLHE players and provide some variety for us low/mid stakes players who don't want to play NLHE all the time.

I will definitely take it in winter when it snows. At the mall, the 201 stops outside the Medieval Times restaurant (faux castle). You can then walk through the mall or walk around the lot a bit to ML. At night you would be safest to walk with a group or through the mall if still open. With lots of foot traffic, it should be okay but still be vigilant.

The last bus leaves BWI airport bound for Shady Grove and the Gaithersburg parknride at 1100pm and gets to the mall at 1118 pm, according to the schedule. http://mta.maryland.gov/sites/defaul...201Feb2012.pdf
So one should get to the stop by 1115 or earlier to avoid missing the last bus of the night.

At Shady Grove metro, the route 201 bus picks up/drops off at the smaller garage. The buses are newly decorated with "Going to BWI?" decor plastered on its side, so easy to spot from the other commuter buses. Just be sure to double check with the driver if getting on a plain bus, as I don't know if all BWI buses are now wrapped with the new decor.

An excellent option to get to ML. I've seen quite a few casino workers take the bus to/from work. Along with lots of BWI travelers, it is a safe and active route. Nice ride to/from.

Other public transportation options to ML offered by Maryland:

Hope this information helps more people get to the poker room!
Thank you. This is BEYOND helpful.

Yes. Which is what I was doing yesterday.

And even though I was doing this, I think it's a terrible rule for the long term health of the casino. Plus, it bogs floor people down with table change requests, as you said. Every other place I've played has a 1 hour rule about going south.

Live Poker Room Staff or Players

There is nothing wrong with the Bravo App and the wait list right?

Haven't visited yet but the wait list even in the morning seems crazy.

Any information anyone? I'm debating if I should show up early or late.

Mike,

Can you confirm if you are in fact taking call-in for 2/5 and higher now? I called the number on Bravo which routes to a call center who then transfered to the poker room. There was no answer, so I got routed back to the call center. Naturally the call center agent asks if they can help. I asked about reaching the poker room to call in for the waitlist. The agent responded that the poker room is not taking call ins yet. Is that accurate? Or should I keep trying to get a hold of someone in the poker room first?

Thanks!

Given the level of traffic this place is getting, this weekend is going to be packed. I might skip this weekend and come the following weekend. Not interested in waiting 1.5 hrs.

Or maybe I'll show up at 4am.

So, what's everyone eating for lunch and dinner there?

Cool thing about seeing stars sitting next to entrance. the only thing is, if person plays high limit, he wants to be treated like king, and not to sit in front of all noise and movement.
So I don't think it's going to last.

Yesterday evening Bravo wasn't wirking well, we had 3-4 sits empty and Bravo was showing 6-8 ppl in line fir our limit. Floor had to call manually.

Also USB charges didn't work, so we were fighting for outlets.

But peopke are great! Much better personal compared to old snobby floors ar Borgata!

110 on the 1/2 list and only 35/52 tables in use? Not enough dealers?

You guess wrong. If you have a question or issue with a moderation action please bring it up in the Moderation Discussion thread, not here.

I'm getting really irritated by the "no backpack" rule. I've walked into the casino 3 times over the past 2 days and had 3 different experiences. I usually carry a small drawstring bag (maybe 12in. x 12in) for my chips, water, snacks, headphones, etc. This is what I've experienced so far:

1. No hassle. Was told that the rule is for regular-size backpacks.

2. Was refused entry. After arguing, a supervisor was radioed over. The supervisor searched my bag then told me that as long as I "don't carry it like a backpack and instead hold it in one hand" that I'm ok.

In the meantime, several women with purses twice the size of my small drawstring were allowed in.

3. Bag was searched thoroughly. I had to remove the travel-pouch I use for my chips and cash and unzip all the pockets.

Poker room issues
In general, I like the room. There are two small issues I have:

1. Having to pay time as soon as you sit down is annoying. Dealers collect time at x:15 and x:45. If a player sits down at any time in between, they are forced to pay half-time. I have never seen this policy before.

2. There is so such thing as "half-time" for short games here. So when it gets to <6 handed, which lots of rec players hate anyway, games often break. I have also never seen this policy.

It might help to give the table # with these reports so they know where the problems are. For instance, the USB charger I used was working fine at Table 38.

I believe the list got long (but not quite as long as today) around this time yesterday too and Mike said the more dealers were coming at 3. I'm hoping this is true today as well.

hahawow, did the wait list just go from 60 to 136 when I hit the refresh on the Bravo site? Guess I'll look forward to sitting down around 6. Or maybe I'll just play my regularly scheduled home-game tournament....

At Borgata if you move tables (whether upon request or due to a table break) and have more than the table max buy in, you may have to reduce your stack. They give you the option of reducing to somewhere between table min and max or to no more that the largest stack at the table. So if you move 2-5 tables with $1,000 and the largest stack at the new table is $700, you must reduce your stack to either $200-500 or $700.

It's kinda funny to see you guys posting your particular grievances here with a room open for two days. I'm not saying there aren't problems but, give them some room to breath. They have a ton of issues to work out. Mike is smart. The staff is strong. In two weeks/ten years there will STILL be problems as there are in every room.

I am disappointed that the mid limit player community, which is considerable there, has been unable to support even one game. I am coming in on the 11th and expect you guys to have it handled by then. เพียงแค่ ล้อเล่น

Best of luck to everyone.

You must be kidding me, wait list on Bravo:

1-2 129 ppl
2-5 77 ppl
2-2 PLO 45 ppl
4-8 OMAHA 45 ppl
5-5 PLO 38 ppl

etc...

It's my understanding that there is a 6-12 HORSE game running with a substantial wait list. This makes me happy in the pants.

What is the rake for this? $$ or timed?

There are about 80-100 waiting in line to get on the list. If you have a players card you can now swipe it and skip the sign in line.

swipe where? at the bravo machine next to the podium?
with 100 people in line, you still gotta wait to get thru the front door, no?

there's not much room between the podium and the bravo machine.

It's to the left of the podium. There is a bravo rep assisting people.

Grievances are posted so they can be noted and improved upon. If people kept their mouths shut about flawed room policies then they would never be fixed.

I don't see what you find funny about that.
