I wasn't there, so admittedly this is second-hand info.; regardless, if an online or B&M poker room advertises a tournament with a minimum guaranteed payout, shouldn't it go off rain or shine, regardless of how many people show up & buy-in?

It was on the calendar with only one week left It would have been good faith to finish out the month.
They also could have canceled it the day before or even morning of but to sell entries right up til the start time then have to wait on line for a refund was just plain wrong!
We did have to cancel and I apologize for the way it was handled. 15 minutes before the event we had 7 players. We had lost money on every single event. In retrospect, we could have handled it differently and I take full responsibility and I apologize. We did accommodate most of the players that were there with a juice free tournament, free meals and drinks as well.

But thanks for continuing to keep me updated and would love to beat you and Gambit at the poker tables again real soon !

Teddy, you can take a shot at me any time, you just have to post the time and place.

Thanks Harris. It is frustrating for me as well. We are working on some new ideas for the new year to help those issues.

WOW i love it, two blocks from the beach, two blocks from the, i dont know, six bars right down the street. Pretty much its awsome. Well the first night i was here went down to a Sports Bar and grill right near a 7-11 sat and had some drinks and of course met someone that liked to play poker. I asked if he wanted to drive to Mardi Gras and he said yes. I was really exicted for this. Turns out we went to the Isles that night. I was pretty buzzed... no acutally i was drunck. So i sat in the 1/2 game and it was really soft and pretty easy. Long Story Short i lost the 150 about 45 minutes into play. I really dont even want to tell you how i lost because its so bad. I just got a job today so ill be playing with you all soon. Anyways I SUCK and Look forward to giving my money away aswell as meeting some of you and calling Mardi Gras my Home Base. ...Vidal
Welcome to Florida. Please ask for me next time you are at Mardi Gras. Love meeting 2+2ers!
