In less than 2 months Florida poker rooms can change their buy-in limits, hours, and spread any number of new games. Currently the law only permits a $100 max buy-in and 12 hours a day operations. Consequently most poker rooms spread low-limit structured games, like $2-$4 Hold’em or $1-$5 Stud, along with $1/$2 NLH and $2/$5 NLH. Poker room managers can opt for uncapped buy-ins on July 1st. As the poker rooms announce their new limits, hours, and games please post them here so we’ll have them in one convenient location.

Yes, these are all from my collection of $1 chips. I have over 2,600 from the US.

The Tampa chip says Tampa but the Hollywood one is a table game chip not used for poker. Poker chips look just like the Tampa ones but say Hollywood.

Here's to hoping Tampa HR changes their chips. They are some of the most disgusting, disease ridden chips I have ever seen. And their chip trays are filthy too

Yea, they are going to change over to just the new BJ chips. Which would be really cool playing poker with. I would guess they make that change before the new games start.

those chips are pretty cheesy looking and cheap feeling, and they have been using some of the white ones for 1$ chips for a while, but I guess its good because they will at least be clean.

Ok, here are all of the $1 chips used by the Seminoles over the years through today (both sides shown) across their 7 properties. Some are no longer in use.

Seminole Gaming Palace, 506 S First Street, Immokalee FL 34143

Seminole Gaming Palace, 5221 Orient Road, Tampa FL 33610

Seminole Hard Rock Casino, 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood FL 33314

Seminole Hard Rock Casino, 5223 Orient Road, Tampa FL 33610

Seminole Indian Casino, Highway 721, Brighton IR FL 34974

Seminole Indian Casino, 5550 NW 40th Street, Coconut Creek FL 33073

Seminole Indian Bingo, 4150 North SR 7, Hollywood FL 33314

In addition to these they also sold 5 special limited edition $1 chips in the gift shops (usually sold in sets with chips of each denomination) commemorating the Grand Opening of the Hollywood and Tampa properties, the 25th Anniversary at the Brighton and Hollywood properties, and a $1 Special Edition chip for the Hard Rock Tampa property. These were never in play at the tables or poker rooms. I don't have any of these in my collection, but would like to find them (contact me if you have any leads or see them in the gift shops):

No, and there's a ton of them too. I don't have the $5 Seminole Hard Rock Girls either.

Most casinos will issue those limited edition chips in the $5 and above denominations in the hopes that people bring them home. Since it only costs about a buck to make a chip the casinos profit on these high denomination chips and subsequently issue dozens and dozens of them. With those quantities and costs I stay away from the $5 chips and just collect the cheaper $1 chips.

You can usually find some pretty interesting chips in the smaller card rooms and casinos.

Haha those chips are pretty gross at Tampa Hard Rock. They have black residue almost resembling tar. I wash my hands usually 3-5 times a session. I could care less though what they use once the limits change. I am soo excited and relieved to buy in full the chips don't bother me as much.

...and hopefully they'll get rid of those $2 chips while they're at it.

If they switch to the BJ chips as rumored then that will take care of the stupid $2 chips.

I clicked on several of your convenient poker room links alpha, to see if any of them say anything on their websites about new games July 1st.

The only one I saw was at Ocala Jai Alai and it is asking for feedback on what types of games people want to play and the hours they wish to play(since they need to pick what 18 hour slot on weekdays)

I think more of the poker rooms should have this type of thing on their websites now, to start getting feedback to help them and to make their customers happy.

It would be a good idea to email the poker room managers with current links to all the 2+2 threads concerning the new law. I could do the tampa area rooms but will probably be too lazy. There's so much good feedback on what players want, it would be a shame if they don't see it all.

This was just posted in another thread but should be added here. Looks like Sarasota Kennel club is the 1st to post there new games/buy ins.

Thanks Parisron. This is exactly what we're looking for from the other Florida rooms. Posting them all here in one place makes sense.

It is interesting that Sarasota decided to not take a jackpot drop for the bigger games. Wish they all go that way.
