You could probably lock it to the fence that goes around the dog track as well. They run 1/2 NL $60min/$200max, and usually have a table of 2/5NL $500/max not sure what the min buy in for that is.

$1/$2- min buy in is $100 max $200

$2/$5- min is $200 max $500

you will be surprised at some of the $1/$2 game at JCKC. some will play like $2/$5. to me the $1/$2 at JCKC is better than the $1/$2 game at ebro and orange park

lately we have been getting a $1/$3 game going

Thanks for the all the input! Do you go to FSU or just a fan? If you live in town, I'd be willing to split gas if you're going this weekend. I haven't gotten the scooter and won't for a few weeks, so it would be cool to head over there before then. I have a test in financial markets and monetary policy tomorrow, so equity is on my mind :P

I thought the min was $60.00 for 1/2, I never buy in for min but I thought that is what I heard. Although I may be confusing it with the Ocala room. That is where I have been playing mostly, as of late.

Now that I am thinking about it, I remembered a few months back when I was there a guy came in bought in for $100.00, and lost it pretty quickly. He then wanted to buy back in but he only had $60.00. Since he had no chips the dealer said he needed $100.00.

I remember everyone at the table wanted him back in as he was pretty bad. He said he was going to get some more money and come back and to hold his seat, but he never came back. So I guess I knew that, and I am confusing it with Ocala.

Hahah. Yea it's weird when someone wants in for only 30 big blinds. I'm gonna try to head over there I guess in a few weeks when I get the scooter. If you see a punk kid with a nofx shirt raising your blinds pretty much 99% of the time, that's me. hah.

I got up Saturday morning and decided I needed to play. So I drove down, got my ass handed to me but that's the way it goes sometimes. It was the busiest I have seen it, they had every table full when I left Saturday night. There were 7 or 8 tables going, Two tables of 2/5 and the rest 1/2.

Sorry to hear you didn't do too well. I'm pretty stoked that the tables are full though. I was really having doubts because that first time I went seriously had two tables running for a long long time.

so Ive asked a couple times and they always say they will run it if theres interest, but would yall like to get a weekly plo game at the jckc? i kno most of the dealers would be able to run the game efficiently and it would be nice to change up the game from time to time instead of having to travel down to tampa hardrock or skc (which has a very nice 1-2-5 plo game btw)

Every Wednesday at 6pm we will be running a PLO game. The minimum buy-in will be set at $300 with no max. If we have enough players, the game will start promptly at 6. Players can decide, as a whole, whether to play Omaha high or Omaha high/low.

Come out on Wednesdays for some Omaha.

Were you there when the old guy went off on the floor manager? Apparently they skipped him as he had in a request to be moved to the 2/5 table. He had just lost a big pot at our table and I guess he was in a mood.

I wish I could play the PLO 08, but it's about 2 1/2 hour drive for me, so I can only play on the weekends.

I amy have to give JCKC another chance here in the next few weeks. Back when I would go there a few times a month it was brutal. $2 joker poker, and when NL got started up it was 50bb BI max, with a $5/30min time rake.

Since its up to full BIs for NL I may make a trip over there either this weekend or in a couple of weeks (have a wedding to attend next weekend in Jax, may try Orange Park since its 10 minutes from my in-laws place).

Oh and the Gretna Room can't open fast enough.

Okay so met someone in one of my classes who has played the tournament. He said 20 dollar add-on gets you 5000 chips instead of 2000. Everyone bought it, and if the rebuys+addons go to the prize pool, the tournament becomes a 53+17 which is more comparable to dogtrack tournaments, especially with 15 minute levels. 25% rake is still about 5-10% more than I see at other games. I'm basically trying to justify playing, but obviously not going to hah. But it at least makes more sense now than without an addon.

Lets get another PLO game going tmw night around 6. wednesdays game was great and the action on a friday night could only bring a nice game/good pots. plus u can win a **** load more then some dumb $50 super turbo
