Rush hour isn't much in Louisville, especially with the 64 bridge back open. Unless there's an accident, it doesn't add more than 5 minutes to my commute in the evening. If coming from Lexington, just take the Watterson Expressway (264) around downtown.

Planning on playing this Thursday. I live in Lexington too. I was wondering how many runners for the Thursday tourney ad what the structure is? I plan on playing both but if cash is juicy I may opt out of the tourney. I am typically a MTT player turbo player.

Also I opted not going to the tourney at Hollywood and don't know if that will effect the field size for the Thursday game. The 345 at Wood is a 345 buyin and 300K G. I just want to play for the day.

Any TVs in the poker room to watch the NCAA tournament during the pokering on Thursday? I am planning a trip to Horseshoe for the day. Also, what is the crowd like on Thursday? How many runners typically during the 11AM tournament?

you would think they would have more games but with their brilliant marketing strategy by allowing seven star companions to jumb in front of people who have been waiting hours to play has run the bigger players off. Without exception the seven star companions have bought their card so that they can go to top of list. I guess that is how they have become the premier poker room in the midwest.

I'm not sure if the games run all the time, but I've seen 2-5NL, 30-60 stud, maybe 10-20 Holdem. PLO...not sure if it's always 1-2 or some 2-5.

How often do they get a 1/2 PLO game going on here and how deep are the stacks usually in this game? I usually play at Hollywood but it seems like from what I hear the game there is either 2/5 or 1/3/5 and the game plays much bigger than Im comfortable playing. So looking to play in a 1/2 PLO game where the stacks are closer to 500 than 1k. Thanks

Also what type of other mix games do they get going here if any?

Anyone ever play the 30/60 stud game down there? Thinking about going down and taking a shot in it. Anyone know anything about that game there or how it plays? How much do people usually sit down with?

They just give it away. Buy in for around $2500 that should get you started and allow you to mix it up.

Only 25K gar. for the 1st event of the MWRPC. Considering they are doing 2 days of entry this is kind of a pathetic gar for for a 1st event of a series.

I went down last friday and I know they at least had a 5/10 plo going not sure if it was 5/10/25 tho.

I drove down from Cincy basically looking to play 1/2 plo and when I called at 12:30 friday night on my drive down the game had just broke. I was pissed but won 225 playing 1/2 NL so I guess it wasnt a complete bust.

Do they have a free wifi anywhere? I was looking and looking all around the place, but didn't find anything free.

Usually I run a webcam from my house when I stay at casino hotels, so I can check on my PC and other things at home. Hollywood has a free wifi at the hotel, btw.
