HS facebook page won't allow new comments. Tightening slots?
And it seems like people are catching up on them slots (took em only 7 years). The crowd is getting smaller and smaller, even compared to just a few months back. Friday nights used to be supercrowded, long lines to the buffet, every slot machine taken, but not last night, and not friday 1-2 weeks before. Seasonal flu?
I was there last night, the girl group playing on the 2nd deck was superb. Solid sound, the pro guitar player blew my mind (I've got a 91' cherry G&L myself, hehe).

Will the Horseshoe Classic tourney series in mid-late June have a decent turnout? Has it in the past?

Thanks.

Thanks Colonel Sandurz! That helps greatly. I'll be driving up from North Carolina and won't be able to register until a few hours prior to the main event satellite Saturday morning. Think that will be a problem?
I'll also be coming back for the big one satelite on Sunday but will register for it on Saturday so don't see a problem there.

Im assuming your familiar with the area/casino. Any guess/estimate on how many players will be playing in either satellite? How is the action on a Saturday night?

Thanks for any assistance that you can provide.

Pansit

Does anyone know how many entrants there was for the Saturday Deep Stack event last week? It seemed a bit pricey for me, but I hope it does well.

Anybody know the breakdown of the rake for the june horseshoe poker classic? I assume It's 200+30+20 i.e. with some % taken out of the 200 for staff, but I can't find the info.

So is anybody going to play in the Horseshoe Classic. I was supposed to be in Vegas right now but since that fell through I will probably play a bunch of these. Need a break from mind numbing 1-2. Taking last longer bets if anyone is interested.

Not sure why, but I am pretty confused on the 200+30+20. Does this mean in an event marked with a buy-in of $230 that $200 goes to prize pool, $30 to casino, and $20 to dealers or do dealers also get a cut of the $200 prize pool money too?

I'm not going to be able to make any of these events, but looks like the Denny Crum is coming up in a month or two and I will probably be down for a last longer in some of those.

Side note: Just read that 25% of the prize pool in the Crum is going to his foundation does that mean that a tourney in the Crum is only 75% as large as one w/ same buy-in and entrants in the horseshoe poker classic?

70 runners in the "50 and over." This was at noon on Monday. They had six or seven tables for the noon event yesterday.

Have searched several times for results of the Midwest Regional C'shp held in April without success. Apparently, they do not post results at HSI. That said, any guesstimates on the field for the main on Saturday?

Pretty sure they had over 100 for the last 750 ME. I would say about 100 for this one.
