Jeremy or the like......are the names posted for the freeroll? Can you post the lowest number that qualified? Also, for the freeroll is it just show up by noon on M 3/23 to play in it? Thanks.

Everyone who played their hours had their asses in their seats for the full time.

Also, as to your nittiness trick, If you sit back and wait for AA/KK, you are not going to be a winning player and will lose more in EV than you will gain from the freeroll EV. Even if it's not -EV (which I am pretty convinced it is), I'm fine with playing with these guys - it's not like they're breaking the rules or anything.
They don't do it until you miss your blind.

This really speeds up the game and gives the casino more rake.
While I do not have the actual numbers, an educated guess is that while the rake was up, it probably would of been much higher if all the extra players played their regular game.

I am there a lot and will see everyone in the tourney on Monday. And yes, I did put in all my hours legitimately with my ass in the seat.

You must be a player who has witnessed a dealer who was over zealous. My observance has been the dealer hits the button when a player misses a blind. Otherwise, every time a player just stood up and answered the phone or walked away for a few seconds they would be hitting that button. They would be hitting the button quite often.

There is a lot of inconsistency with hitting that button. I know - I witnessed it.

There is a lot of inconsistency with third man walking also.

The one time I hit the BBJP was at Commerce. A guy had been sleeping at the table for 20 minutes or so when it hit. Since he had been sleeping, he wasn't getting hands and therefore didn't share in the JP. No one, including myself, gave him any of their take.

Obviously one of the people who was busy using this strategy to get more hours logged.

I'm not stating informed factual horseshoe SOP data here, just what I saw playing on what happened to be the last night of the freeroll. I was perfectly happy being at a table with several of these guys though. Its not a problem to me, I just thought it was comical that people were willing to go to great lengths to do this. I wish it would happen more often, it was like playing 6-max live most of the time which is good for me.

I realize I worded this pretty bad.

I was disagreeing with the post saying they do it when you stand up, that's not true.

Sweet justice! How big was the jackpot? How ****ed off was the guy who fell asleep? I can just picture this guy waking up to the bad news as everyone is high-fiving each other and laughing.

He wasn't that obnoxious. He just sat there in disbelief for 30 seconds and then left. The jackpot was around 30k, my table share was 1,300.

And don't call it justice please. Staying awake at the table is a struggle for me as well.

This is now the longest thread in B&M history. Congrats, I guess. Can anyone accept the award on Coconuts's behalf?

Why must u insist on including this boring game of holdem with the fun and exciting game of omaha. When they play this in 25-50, the holdem part is usually dead and has small pots compared to the omaha part.

Hey, I was looking for information on the Omaha game. I hear there is a 1-3 PLO that runs regularly? Is this everyday all day or only at certain times.

I live in Wisconsin and I normally play Potawatomi but the PLO game there is way too big for my bankroll, especially since I am just starting out in the game. When would be a good time to give PLO a try at the Shoe and how crazy is it? Buy-in range, what I should expect, and how much I need behind are good starting points.

Thanks guys... enjoy the money I'm going to donk off.

Weekends is the best chance for you. Yesterday we had a 1/2 PLO going. 100min300max. We do run a 2/5 also, again weekends are best 1000max buy in.

Maybe at night during the week. I'll let Jeremy answer that since he's the night shift manager.

Was just a list of interest Saturday from 2 till around 8 when I left. The 1/2 plo wasn't overwhelmed with players, either.

Most players buy in for 200 or 300. It plays like a 2-5 no limit game. Have at least 1 reload preferably 2 reloads. The game is good, with players from nits to wild ones. The floor could do a better job of pushing this game. A 5-10 plo has been running alot lately.

Thanks for the information on the PLO. 2-5 NL is my normal game at Potawatomi but like I said, the PLO 5-5 they have runs 500-2500 max and gets real big real quick. Not to mention there are at least 6 pretty darn good players there.

Is it the same at the Shoe? A couple good players and a lot of randoms, or is it a regular only game? I plan on coming down Friday night I'll probably bring 1k with me and see how it goes. I am new to the game but I've grinded out 4k hands over the past week in 6max... hopefully that will translate okay into FR.

Crap freeroll where I was shorstacked in 10 mins, played perfect yet lost in level 4 anyway because of the structure, and they go on to chop it 42 ways!!! Nice.
