So you're putting those chips.in front of your.cards, which might be close to the rail, so you're not close.to the pot, and pull them back?

I honestly don't recall if I changed my mind when I'm cutting chips behind my cards or if I'm actually in the middle of pushing my stack out, it hasn't happened in a while. It just seems insane to me to proceed to bluff when your opponent has given you a rather obvious tell that it isn't going to work. On other occasions, I have followed through and finished the bet when the opponent called too quickly.

In other news, I was playing Stud 8 in one of the HORSE games recently. I bet the river and then I announce "Pair of 8s and a low" and turn over my hand when it looked like he called. Except he didn't call, it was purely my mistake. I say "Well, I have a pair of 8's and a low". He asks if it's unethical to look at my hand and I say no, so he leans forward to study my hand, announces he has a 7-6 low and calls. I only now analyze exactly what low I have and find it's a 7-5 low. SCOOP! Probably the worst angle shot ever.

The angle is done on a board like T8662. They'll announce 32 as two pair in hopes that Tx and 8x muck. If someone announces two pair with 32, that's the person who may be trying something...particularly if they don't announce two pair when they have KT on the same board.
You are absolutely right. ****ty example by me

Also - that is amazing news bout the draw games being passed. Source?

While we're on the subject, what's the max buy-in?

Right. Quality of the game varies.

is it just me, or has the level of attractiveness of the massage girls crew drastically decreased in the last few months?

Once the gorgeous blond message girl was no longer working there I just gave up all hope. One looks like nicki minage though.

wait wait wait, do you guys give a **** about hot a poker room masseuse is? I mean, getting a massage is lame enough in a poker room, but you're paying 2 bucks a minute because you can have a kinda hot girl rub your back with all your clothes on?

lol pay half as much, and get it done right.

I, for one, care mostly about the hotness of the masseuses because I'm not paying $2/minute. Hotness is the only utility for me.

The games are decent. A lot of the same faces in the game but enough casual players who come in and do your standard PLO things.

Max is $500 now. As mentioned before, blinds are $1-$2 with a $5 bring-in.

She looked remarkably like Elisha Cuthbert. Sorry to see her go.

Kind of a shame to see regs blatantly ignoring the new table cards and trying to strong-arm people into giving up their seats...

Well, I've yet to actually be given one of the new cards.

Heh fair enough

Move in the right direction though for the room.

So many floaters that just snatch up empty seats.

There was a reg last night trying to take an empty seat but was rejected because he didn't have a table card. I've also seen dealers tell people to go to the front desk and get a card after being sent over to a table. For the most part I'd say dealers are doing a good job at making sure the correct person gets a seat, although there has been 2-3 times that I was directed to a table without a card and was able to sit. Depends on the dealer, I guess.

I noticed them taking a list for 60-120 2-7 Triple Draw. I certainly won't be playing that big, but I guess we're finally good to go with draw games.

What stake should we try to get a smaller 2-7 game at? I figure either 8/16 or 20/40.

I'll be around today.
