I've only been playing live since Black Friday and have never seen this situation come up in a casino.

So please forgive my ignorance and answer the question. Thanks in advance.

as long as it's at least simultaneously and not after pushing the chips out and releasing, verbal declarations stand. So saying "call" while pushing out chips is a call.

Well, wait a minute...isn't HH still using the "imaginary line" rule?

So, if the chips are in front of the player's cards then they are in play once they are in front of the cards and any verbal declarations are irrelevant once they cross that line.

Or did they get rid of this stupid rule?

I would think the ruling is there is no such thing as simultaneous. Either the verbal is binding or the chips are binding.

Chips released in front of your cards are in the pot. So if you grab a stack and drop two reds, you bet $10.

Well here in America, the convention is to go on the right. Why people adapt to this perfectly fine when driving but not when on foot is anybody's guess.

If you release them, then yes that is the bet. If you push out a large stack and say call while still holding the stack, it's a call.

pretty sure it's always been that way, someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Is the bravo poker app stuck or something? It showed a table of 10/20 horse with 3 waiting and 8 waiting for 6/12. Next time I check around 6:00 there is no 6/12 and 8 waiting for 10/20 horse with one table of 10/20 still running.

A buddy of mine was there and thinks they were both running. I was going to go but wasn't sure if they would start another 10/20 table so figured it wasn't worth it. If I knew 6/12 was running I would have gone for sure but bravo didn't show it. Can someone confirm if 6/12 ran?

this^ exactly...If you dont release the chips then its not binding, but verbal is always binding at all times!

any one else see the Huge angle opportunity this creates lol? AS long as you dont release lol!

Last 1-2 game I played there was the most nitty tight game Ive ever played...I was going insane playing in it lol....the pot was raised to 10 dollars UTG ...gets one caller...Flop comes 10,J,K...Original raiser Cbets and takes it down...

Directly after the hand is over the guy to my right who was sitting in the Hi jack which is late postion says damn I folded AQ and the guy directly to his right says he folded AQ as well...LMAO....How F&*K do you fold AQ in late position in a cash game?

By the way the guy who raised UTG is sitting behind $200 to start the friggin hand and both these guys have him covered making it all the worse...

At this point I was losing my mind so I went and played 2-5 which was polar opposite with guys 3 betting light as a feather with A3os lol....

Are any of those appetizers in the noodle bar any good? Whats the best thing to get there? I was thinking about the pot stickers in particular.

Is it me or is that steakhouse upstairs way over priced for what it is?

I went there this weekend and had a fine dinner. The quality of food was fine, but the prep really left something to be desired. This is the second time i've been there and the same thing. It seems like they have a real lack of talent in the kitchen there. I live downstate and have way better meals for half the price. I don't mind paying but at least give me a competent chef. Food is just not creative at all either.

I have stayed in Lansing also which was a mistake and is also too ghetto or depressed for me. Every time I go to play in Hammond I now stay in Tinley Park which is a bit of a drive but it is the suburbs and not ghetto at all. The Wyndham is really nice but so is the Sleep Inn and Comfort Suites in Tinley. Tinley is about 30 minute drive but it depends on traffic can be longer of course.
Magnusson also has smoking rooms. The lady at the Ramada told me that all Indiana rooms now forbid smoking by law, but apparently Magnusson ain't care. The train has never bothered me. I come from Indianapolis, and I'm not about to travel all that extra time to stay in somewhere in Chicago.

Last two weeks I've played 5/10nl probably like 70 hours. I'm probably going to become a reg, coming up most every weekend. If you spot a mid-20s guy in glasses wearing a blue Butler Bulldogs hat, don't hesitate to say hi

I really like how quickly games can become shorthanded and stay that way. Last week I played 5/10/20 3 handed for like 4 hours, it was amazing.

Last Sunday I was playing in a 20/40 LHE game at about 11AM, I bet into this guy on the flop, and he promptly proceeds to have a massive seizure. Freaked me the hell out. I'll keep playing though.

But the buffet comps are cool. They started giving away buffet vouchers for 4 hours of play again.
