Yes. In fact, it would be the 2nd annual pre-HORSE WSOPC 6/12 cash game. We just have to find 8-9 people willing to sit down.

sell yourself at a discount lol!

Ever since winning a seat, I've not run well at all. Hopefully that turns around this weekend.

I'm planning on playing the HORSE tourney but not sure when I will get there. If I'm there early enough I'll play horse cash.

Ya, this is awful. For the people who have played cash the past couple of days, is it a 1.5-2 hour wait once your name is on the list (2/5NL)?

No. Last night I was able to get into a 2/5 game in about 15 minutes. The waits won't be horrible weekdays.

If the line is long, you can also play satellites. The wait for satellites tends to get shorter as the cash game wait gets longer (more traffic, more satellites run). They will also hold your place on the list if you are in a satellite when you get called.

You just don’t seem to get it, Indiana casinos are regulated by the Gaming Commission, anything to do with gaming must to be approved, no taxes are taken out, BRO! Somehow you think the Horseshoe gets the money back if not used, this is not the case, money goes into the prize pool. Its astounding how people can complain about the best deal in town.

I'm not complaining about winning a ticket? What are you talking about?

The people it sucks for are the people who are the people who are paying into the promotion with no chance of winning (people who've won, people who can't go, etc)

TAKE A SHOWER. FIND ONE. CHANGE YOUR CLOTHES. Traveling to a tournament, spend some money on a hotel room.

anyone have any idea when they cutoff late registration for the noon events (O8)?

Thank you.

Right. When you win a seat, you get a "voucher" not a "check". That "voucher" can be used (only) for a specific purpose, entry into the tournament. You're saying, since the money goes into the prize pool, that's why you can't exchange the "voucher" for cash. Those "free" entry "vouchers" could be called "coupons", like the ones you get from auto dealers, who want to sell you a new car. They are worthless, if you don't buy the car, (wheaties, cornflakes, sardines, bread with store "coupons").

Are cash games going to be running at all tomorrow or should I just skip this weekend and head down another time?

Plenty of cash games, the field should be much smaller than for Event 1. In the other thread, some guy said he was entry #21 in the Main Event on Saturday, so it sounds like they won't need to use poker room tables for tournaments.

i got there at 1pm last saturday and was seated for a cash game immediately, so this saturday should be no problem.

Is Horseshoe Hammond poker operation going to be downsized or closed?
No more "call-ins". Bad beat ticker absent from monitors. Removed the wait list from monitors and replaced it with Harrah's advertising videos. A couple of the (more pleasant) supervisors have recently departed. The "comp" system was completely down/out. Is it back up?

lol wat? Call-ins should be back now that the series is done. Bad beat ticker is on the monitors. Wait list is on the monitors.

They had some technical difficulties the other day is all imo.

There are no more call-ins at Horseshoe Hammond, tournament or no. Easy to find out, just call-in.

i went yesterday, they said that call-ins are no more because too many people were complaining that lists were too long and they couldnt see their names or they got bumped because they assumed they were 15 people down when in fact they were up next and the names before them were just call-ins.

this is an absurd excuse of course, so complain to management and get it changed.

This is pretty terrible. Most people already have to drive through Chicago traffic taking anywhere from 40mins to 1hour+. To drive that long and then have to wait another hour on the busy weekend nights is not going to sit well with people.

If there was no wait, then it wouldn't be an issue but we all know how long the lists can get on the weekend.
